I'm a SE Texas boy & loved running my Buddies 389 up in the Dakota's. He drove for 42 years & had an awesome broker. Those box & flatbed loads paid the best. I hated the NE runs but lived for those NW ones. I didn't like the cold, but the paycheck made up for it. Keep On keep'n On Brother. I had a stroke & can't OTR anymore but love watching you guys out there moving America 🤟🥶

Them brakes were froze solid Lol.I was on the 80 just outside Reno heading home to Cali New Year’s Eve chained up ⛓️ & shutdown in that snowstorm it was pretty gnarly but not as cold 🥶 where u were @ lol.Drive safe out there.

If ever you are board waiting for weather improvement, checkout trucking New Zealand, or some of the Aussie trucks on utrube. In western Australia, on a daily basis, trucks hauling 142 metric tons, i.e., 4 trailers loads of fuel, to the open ore mines..

I remember being in conditions like this in Saskatchewan, never did see any turn offs in time to stop;( Just kept on. Having bare pavement makes all the difference. at least I was pretty familiar with Hwy 39!

Glad I do not drive OTR anymore. I have been through what you where going through, and it was not fun. Make sure you keep plenty of fuel in your rig, and do not shut it off until you get some place that is above freezing so your fuel will not gel.

Man it’s sucks this is why I bought a new truck because the diesel shops are so forgetful I had injectors replaced and I asked for new injector cups few days later the injector cups blew … they never replaced the injector cups luckily I payed and had recipes and they repaired it ….that’s not my only story either

Nick, you might look into a lapel mic or some other type of mic, because the truck and road noise pretty much covers up your voice , just saying . Bad conditions out there, stay safe driver , no load is worth your life .
