It just shows the difference between tuning something for max power on the dyno, and then actually putting that power down on to the track. That thing looks like, aside from engine tuning and set up issues, it needs a real good suspension set up on it and the clutch doesn't seem too clever either. Chris needs to donate it to McFarland Racing LLC for a month or two down in sunny Fla, and let the guys do their thang on it.........

So excited to see the burntacan set up and ripping, love that build and seeing a good rip being officially certified will be the icing on the build :) Man his mid engined 67(?) mustang-slash-nfs-fake-veyron is looking amazing!

I watched every video of B is for Building putting that car together, one of my favorite car builds on YT.

When Chris drove this car a bit after the build was "finished", I thought he didn't have the balls or skills to send it. But after seeing the car struggle so much with Cleetus, its clear its all tune. I'm curious how it will perform with a proper tune.

@@MiGujack3 Its not that he refuse's too... Its a matter of what makes the most sense and what maintains the business that he runs. Chris doesn't have a drag strip and a literal race track he can take his cars too every other day to tune them / test them. He gets what ever he can on the streets of Portland... Where 7 months out of the year the roads are absolute garbage. His channel and content is based off of building cars, not driving them. If he had the same following of people interested in him actually driving the cars he builds he would be more reason to actually put out videos of them fully tuning/testing out the cars they build.

When Scott Palmer started driving Top Fuel, he had essentially what is a kill switch connected to the oil pressure transducer, it's a really good idea :)

Not only the shell but when Cleet dumped the clutch and grabbed the brakes the front wheels stopped but the car rocked back n forth like it has marshmallows for a arm bushings, thats spooky to me in a car that caliber

Huracan monocoques are built with an integrated FIA certified "rollcage", and they work great. Until BIFB decided to cut it all up and sacrifice rigidity for who knows what reason.

Watching two Vette's in a drift battle is a beautiful thing. Cletus was getting it !

But the amount of crap bodywork and "tack and seam seal' things I've watched him do is painful

Wheel is purposely off set so he can see dash. Suspension is also not set for drag as its not a specific drag car, its a multi purpose car. However it does need some tuning from a seasoned driver.

Lots of pros at that event. Guarantee with as good as a driver as Cletus is with an actual setup car he'd do great. That C5 setup wise is literally just an angle kit (and maybe coilovers can't remember). I have a c5 and my buddy has one with almost the exact same setup. He needs to run a wider and possibly stickier tire as well.

Hell yeah i think bringing the lambo to FL to get it diled in and running good is exactly what it needs

LMFAO This comment is some grade A content right here. You obviously weren't around for some of the sketchy early content with Leroy or Ruby. Hell if you ever saw some of the peeks inside of Jimmy's 240 you would know how sketchy that thing was with just a roof hoop and that was it running fast 1/8th mile times. Up until recently most of Cleets cars were built with duct tape and dreams.

I might be missing the point of your comment but Lamborghini don't make manual Huracans. This is a custom build by Chris. He's great with ideas, but as you can see, not great with executions
