Driving the ICEFIELDS PARKWAY (from Lake Louise to Jasper Alberta)
In this video, we take you on a drive up the Icefields Parkway (aka: highway 93 Alberta) from stunning Lake Louise to beautiful Jasper, going through both Banff National Park and Jasper National Park. There are tons of sights along the way, including a variety of hikes, but if you only have a day to get up there, the most popular stops include Peyto Lake, the Columbia Icefield and the Athabasca Glacier, Sunwapta Falls, and Athabasca Falls.
The Icefields Parkway is often ranked as the most scenic drive in the world, and we don't doubt that claim. It's spectacular. Mountains, glaciers, pine forests, turquoise lakes, waterfalls, and more greet you on this amazing iconic Canadian road trip.
There's also fun attractions like the Columbia Ecefield tour, Athabasca glacier tour, and the Columbia Icefields skywalk.
The distance from Banff to Jasper is about 3.5 hours, but that does not include all the stops you will make along the way. The Icefields Parkway basically starts close to the turn-off for Lake Louise.

0:44 2hrs away from Calgary! 😭 Damn! I shouldn't have clicked the video, it reminded me of Chelsie! My girlfriend was from Calgary AB & she is no more now, she met with an accident & she lost her life ( she's gone too young ) & it's been 6+ years now, I still can't forget the memories we had back when she visited India! & I was about to visit her & this happened 😭😣💔. Chelsie, I miss you babe 😣

at least theres some glacier left. to see the glacier going into lake louise was some beautiful thing. but that was back in 1959 and now its mostly gone forever.

I remember when I was on Icefields Parkway during 2020 COVID-19 time and travel time too but with restrictions and I saw the Columbia icfields but could not take the bus because it was 6 weeks after the crash where the bus flipped over 2 times and landed on its roof

If you mean the lake, it's Lake Louise. If not, it's the ICefields Parkway, which is the highway between Lake Louise and Jasper
