Driving the Highest Continuous Paved Road in America
September 25th, 2023: The Front Range of the Rocky Mountains is quintessential American glory. In the fall time, grasses are golden and aspens are ablaze. Follow along as I share some of the most impressive sights along my drive from Fort Collins to Wolcott, Colorado.
Rocky Mountain National Park covers a very scenic bit of the Front Range. Within the park lies Trail Ridge Road: the highest continuous paved road in the country (reaches 12,183 feet above sea level). In this video, I drive the full length of Trail Ridge Road, from east to west.

Live RMNP! (When I’ve gone I typically have seen elk around Moraine Park). I’ve only seen bighorns when I’ve visited in winter when they come down to Lowe elevations. And love the diversity of native rodents at different life zones.
