I got a chance to drive a 1970 Red Pig tribute AMG 300 SEL in silver. The Red Pig was what put AMG on the map as a tuner and the car itself was a 420 horsepower beast packaged in a sedan. Eventually, Mercedes bought AMG and it all started with the Red Pig.

They actually originally made 6. The last surviving one is in finland, and all of them were raced and called the red pig. If you google waxenberger 300 sel there's a video on the current owner (in finnish)
