Got my test in West Wickham on Monday at 9am. Praying for an easy drive. Went there with my dad to see the area and the roundabouts when busy is stress. Praying for deliverance.

Literally watched this the day before my exam 2 weeks ago and it’s helped me out so much. I passed first time thanks to you Francis 🎉 now I watch your mock tests for fun and for more tips to be a better driver 😂😅

Man, your videos were so useful! Just passed today at West Wickham and your tips were really spot on. I had a similar test route. I could hear the voice in my head "don't straddle between lanes" 😂

My examiner made me laugh as I was so nervous on my test and once back at the test centre I turnt the engine off took my seatbelt off and slumped my head into my hands as I couldn't believe I just went through the test it all went so fast felt like I was on the roads for 5 mins 🙄 he said to my instructor in the back of the car who came along with me after using his ipad shall I put Victoria out of her misery 😂 congratulations you have passed and that was a very safe drive well done. Phewww as I was told the test centre I used was very hard to pass at with having such a low pass rate being in South East London Erith test centre so I told myself I can't do this but I did and anyone taking there test believe me when I say it's not as scary as some people make it out to be 👍

@@AFBhojani I did forward bay park and I think that’s about it. I can’t really remember to be fair and I can’t remember what car parks they will take you too. Ask your instructor

Love your videos, they're so helpful but i think you did not cover all of the West Wickham Test routes eg the Mad Mile and some other possible routes. Thanks though, great job.

Also what happens if you miss a turning you were meant to take on a sat nav or just where they direct you. Do you get a minor?

And if you miss a turn or go the wrong way theres literally no problem at all. If you're following satnav it'll redirect you or if the examiner is guiding you they'll get you back on route. You can't get a fault for going the wrong way.

My driving instructor always says stay to the left side when going back down the hill to the centre. I don't know if it is correct advice

Not necessarily a fail if you straddle the two lanes unless you're impeding, blocking or endangering another vehicle. It's confusing for cars behind though. You should be centre in an appropriate lane or cars will try and overtake you too close.

I live around there and I would love to have my test in West Wickham but I have a test booked in sidcup where I never drove around before because there are no tests available round my area 😓

Hey Chloe! They'll ask you to do one manouvre, like Parralel parking or bay parking and they'll ask questions during the test called show me tell me questions. Hey Kat! yeah the tom tom says turn right but it's not actually a right turn. If you look at the road markings we're just following the road on a slight bend. So it's a confusing instruction from the satnav and if you put a right signal on for that you'd be misleading as It might look like you're trying to pull over on the right or go into one of the driveways. The satnav isn't always correct! Hope that helps

If i have done a test twice in Bromley would taking another one in wickham be okay or would you suggest not to and just stick to Bromley?

West wickham would be fine if you're used to Bromley! The speed limits are very similar. There are a couple of SLIGHTLY harder roundabouts but overall West Wickham is a much easier area than Bromley.

What test centre would you say is easier Bromley or west Wickham?

West wickham would be the preferred test centre if you have a choice but Mitcham is a very close second! Choose the one that’s closest and that you’ll get the most practice time at! The examiners at Mitcham are lovely and the area is mostly 20mph 😊

Hither green isn't super hard but west wickham is ridiculously easy for a test centre in London!

Why do you feel the need to take one hand off the steering wheel whilst you're driving in order to talk? Not a good example to set for a learner driver.

Hey! Thanks for the comment and good point. But I don’t mind when learners take a hand off the wheel and often make them practice driving with one hand. It’s essential to be able to drive with one hand comfortably and confidently so you can use the other hand to change gear, operate buttons like the demisters etc etc 😊 hope this helps!
