I just passed Bromley 21st June 2023 with 2 x minors and here is my advice: BEFOREHAND please note this!! The guy in-front of me who literally started the test 2 seconds before me FAILED before leaving the test centre road!! he exited the test centre on THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE LANE - the lane markings are extremeley faded lines, and it can be so easily confused for a single lane as you'll swing out toward the right-side lane. I almost followed behind him into this test failing error before I realised last second. = be prepared to do a manouvre before you leave the test centre - I was asked to bay reverse park straight away. = don't overlook early start slots - I started at 8:10am and the roads were not even busy. = don't rush out at junctions - slow down in 1st gear, check both ways AND THEN move off, you don't have to rush off thinking your gonna be marked down for hesitation. They want to see your navigating and checking both ways safely. = don't get caught up in too much conversation - this distracted me on the independnt driving and nearly missed my right-turn on two occassions, being overly nice won't help you pass, concentrate on driving safely!

Totally agree about the lane markings just outside the centre just outside the Lidl parking. Yesterday | went there with my instructor to check it out (my test is in 2 weeks) and did that error myself that he needed to verbally correct me. Of course now I know about this but might have failed if I did it like this on the test. Bear in mind, some cars (not learners) would do the same also, but they're not being tested of course and no one cares if they drive on the right side for 20 or 30 yards.

A bit late i'm actually going for my test today 😂😅 but they didn't even turn towards grove park so all the roads they used were 30 obviously just because you can do 30 doesn't mean you should if it's not safe to do so.

I do not understand how DVLA will bring Examiners who hasn't slept well to examine a candidate.Imagine mine telling us she has not slept well and woke up around 4am,having swollen eyes and unhappy.And at the end giving you faults you never did at all.what do we call that pleass?Is it not meant to be queried?

Hey Lucia of course that would be ridiculous. However the problem here is that 1, can you prove that you never made those faults and 2, you have to be able to prove that her lack of sleep as you said has an effect on her ability to carry out her job effectively. Think I just sounded like a lawyer damnn!!! 🤣. On the other hand though, you'd probably be gutted if you was told on the day your test had to be cancelled because your examiner didn't sleep well then DVSA will leave you to find another test or rebook you for one weeks away.

Could you please share the test route (starting point to endpoint)

24:04 thats where I failed today i didn't give way to upcoming traffic even my examiner was upset about it because i drove so nicely rest of the test

Oh no that's such a shame and you're not the only one who has made this mistake. Even till recently I still have learners attempting to proceed while there are oncoming vehicles hence I bring learners here when possible to see what they'll do. Hope you'd find another test soon.

Haven't seen any speed sign on the videos. Aro Bromley roads with 20mph????

Most of Bromley routes are 30mph hence they’re mostly over 20mph. However it’s important to look out and be aware of traffic signs as you have to wonder what happens next when you pass and you’re not driving in Bromley
