My name is David and with my dog Lefty we travel the country in our ambulance conversion RV. I made this change to my life and you can too! Like, subscribe and comment! Lefty would appreciate it - he wants the adventures to keep coming!
The Campulance is a 2002 Ford E450 Marque Commando 164 Class III ambulance powered by the Ford 7.3l Powerstroke turbo diesel engine and a 4 speed 4R100 transmission. Lefty is a 68lb American Staffordshire Terrier (best I can tell) that came from the Verona Street Animal Shelter (www.vsas.org/) in March 2014 at the age of 9 months. We have been living full time in the campulance since July 2019. #ambulancelife #vanlife #staffordshireterrier

Hello David & Lefty…If you’re going to go through Illinois, then I’m guessing you’ll be taking I-80 East. I just moved to Merrillville, IN which is just south of 80 & 94 at the 65 intersection. Be safe & remember there’s no reason to push yourself. Remember you’re retired and can take your time! Enjoy the ride! Safe travels 😎

Let Dave relax and share the way he always has. Don't put more on him, not fair. Life is too short to get wrapped up in more crap. Be happy he is so generous with his time abreast. You saw what the sweet potato gleaning did to exhaust Dave. So ✋️ Stop.

Hi David and Lefty: love your travel vids. As a trucker traveling across the states the green and brown sounds real understandable to me. But most people don't travel like that they take airplanes so I was always surprised at how much people didn't understand the difference between east coast and west coast landscaping.

It's not just E vs W, it's also a N/S thing. I remember driving down to North Carolina from CT one April. Trees were barely starting to bud here -- everything was still very brown -- and when we got there it looked like everything was in full summer. Trees had leaves. Summer flowers were blooming. Grass was green.

We saw as low as $3.30 / gallon for diesel in Texas and Oklahoma and as high as $4.60 in Ohio and NY. When we left Arizona it was $4.50 / gallon there.
