I failed my test at morden two days ago, it was following road signs, I didn't ask, I just panicked, took the wrong turn ended up at Rosehill, and .... missed one of the internal traffic signs .. the examiner was so nice, it makes me feel worst I failed. Practise following road signs, in mi case we did parking at the travel lodge of Epsom Road, then following signs to central London and then to the M25 from rosehill roundabout. Practise also the right turn in Epsom Road to go back to the test centre, the one that takes you to that little slip road .. it is a little tricky right turn and it has a traffic sign

This is a great video. Im hoping to become a driving instructor once my youngest starts nursery. I learnt a lot from this video it's interesting to see how an automatic driving instructor reacts to a manual after a year or so. Both seem very easy going would be great to see you two make more videos ! All the best

There are times when you don't NEED to signal when moving off. But I do believe you should always signal regardless, make a habit of it. Worst case, you signal when there is nobody around (harmless), however, if you don't and there's a car or person, you could hit or be hit.

I watch both your channels, so this was brilliant. Just wondering, Say I was on my test and I done what Scott did at 18.54 would I fail as the car reversed back. I really enjoyed this video :) look forward to seeing your's on Scotts :)

Hey Lee-Ann! He was being a bit cheeky planning on squeezing through but the car started reversing before he even crossed the give way line. I wouldn't recommend squeezing through any gaps on a driving test but if you're super confident and it's safe go for it! And thanks for watching. Glad you liked it! 😊

Always wanted to know how I'd do on a mock test in a area I didn't know. 😨

I always signal when moving off,saves you the hassle accessing whether it benefits anyone or not 😆

I was taught you only need to signal when moving off if there is someone to benefit except if it is from behind a parked car where you should always signal. But I drive in much quieter areas than London so I can see why it is a good idea there. Probably isn't anywhere to stop that isn't behind a parked car!

Yep!! You can use any aids your car has except self parking!

Fun fact: I’m anxious about driving. I daydream constantly and mostly by accident. I have a problem. So I’m really afraid that I’ll lose focus while driving.

Hi Francis, I had my test in Morden (I'm used to driving in Mitcham/Croydon) and passed first time with 9 minors. Watching these videos massively helped develop some familiarity with the area before the test Thank you!

Yeah absolutely you can use Cruise control but I'd probably recommend against it. You won't be traveling at very high speed for too long and it might encourage you to be complacent and react slowly to a hazard or a direction instruction.
