Driving through Melbourne's inner most and oldest suburb. Fitzroy is best known for its street art and is a popular destination for dining out and visiting bars. Starting point is in Fitzroy north and the route follows St Georges Rd and Brunswick St, then Gertrude St, Smith St and Johnston St.

That was fun. I used to live in Church st north Fitzroy about 20 years ago and it was fun to keep a lookout for old haunts. depressingly few of which remain by the looks. The Toucan Club, the Moroccan soup Bar and Planet Cafe in Brunswick st seem gone. As well as Brezoz, The Mill climbing center and Lai Lai Palace ( best Vietnamese food) in Smith st seem to be gone too....
