They weren’t necessarily “building” tracks like we do but trying to link a few roads together to get a bit of a race

@aarava in early days f1 these corners were absolutely a challenge and incredibly dangerous. There is interviews of jackie stewart talking about the dangers of this circuit. Because you said no challenge in the corners

Hey, Aarav, it was just a great idea to check how old Spa was. But following some of the guys down below, could you try again, but this time with a classic car? I've watched some classic races and I know how terrifying it was for those guys to race there. It would be nice to see you having a go.

On Your observation on older tracks; front engined cars with very skinny tires, hence the long straights.

It had so little challenge, you actually had to give up because you couldn't make it through el rouge at the very start of the lap hahaha
