I lived in Tampa 20 years ago. Always found it an underrated city. A more genuine place to live if you don't want the commercial, manufactured tourism of Orlando.

Tampa is a great city. I visited and fell in love. Coming back again for another visit.

In my opinion, there should never ever be music in the background since it would spoil all the naturality of the video! It's the best this way. We can hear the sounds, noises, voices and everything! Those who want music in the background should turn the sound off and play their own music to their liking...

Thank you for coming thru my city. We always drive down Bayshore Blvd to get to our fishing spot. You did a great job.

This was great. Also shows how much the area is going to even get bigger in the coming years with all the new construction including the 4 billion dollar Water Street project. Should have also gone down beautiful Bayshore Blvd which has the longest continuous sidewalk in the world.

This looks like a very nice,clean city.I would like to go there someday.Thank-you for the video.

Test Booty Whip no. You can’t really dig in Florida. It’s a peninsula and barely above sea level, so it’s likely to flood if they tried. They don’t even have basements here.

XxRipstikersxX The locals are rude and selfish. The drivers are someone of the worse I’ve seen in my life, someone is always trying to race or cut you off. The city has become littered. High Crime everywhere. To top it off, it’s ridiculously expensive. I see no point to going to Miami anymore. Tampa has everything Miami has for a cheaper price and it’s closer to Orlando. I’ve lived in south Florida for 10+ years.

I like tampa 💙

I used to say "Why Tampa?" or "What is great about Tampa?". Miami is Florida's cosmopolitan or urban center and Orlando is its tourist center (You can throw in nearby spring break favorite Daytona Beach and NASA's Cape Canaveral ). But I must say that right now Tampa's professional sports are the center of the universe. Stanley Cup, Tom Brady, Ray's in the World Series.

I lived in Tampa for the first thirteen years of my life, and I always love revisiting the city. Great video

When I used to live in frigid Ohio during the winter I would gaze into videos like this while wishing so BADLY that I lived there. I moved to Tampa in 2017 and love it. No more cold or snow for me.

Always dreamed of moving to FL,watching videos lile this helps understand the roads a little bit.

The video is great again! My honest opinion on the question about the new intro, I do not like it if you can see the highlights before the actual video. But as I said, the quality and variety are at a very high level and this makes your channel one of the best (or best) when it comes to driving / exploring landscapes channel.

Great video. I visited a few years ago on business for a couple of days and then stayed the weekend on my own dime exploring the gulf coast. The whole thing was a fine experience. I visit Miami every year for New Year's but I think I will now switch to Tampa for a while.

My dad was born in Tampa in '72 (and I didn't know that 'till he told me lol) so basically, he's from Florida but now he and his family moved to Minnesota and ever since that day, he's been living over here.

Just change the playback speed to 2x, youtube offers that option for all videos you view. Top right corner on phone.

That was great!! I only wish I had watched it before I visited Tampa in September and stayed downtown! I was going all around in circles like you were, but I was lost trying to get back to my hotel!😂. I’m moving there in April 2021 from Philadelphia because I loved it there so much. You should have drove by the River Walk. I kept saying turn on Tyler! Turn on Tyler!🤣. Well as a resident of Tampa, and that op uploaded in August it’s safe to say it’s over 100 degrees. Come late October to early March it’s a totally different story 😊

@@roddywhittemore493 I live here. Everyone knows downtown Tampa is a business district. Lots of big buildings, hotels, apartment complexes, cute little restaurants and boutiques reside there. The only part of downtown that I can think of that is a great hot spot for drinking and nightlife is Sparksman Wharf in Channelside. But if you’re looking for the night clubs or shopping areas, Ybor City, Soho, Hyde Park, Westshore and downtown St. Pete are the places to go. The only time downtown Tampa actually looks lively is when there is a Lightning game, a boat parade or Gasparilla parade. Who knows though... they’re building A LOT of new stuff in downtown and the place is growing bigger and bigger everyday. It wouldn’t surprise me if in a few years downtown Tampa will eventually have more action, nightlife and tourist attractions.

@Anthony Trevino You know you could’ve just gone to Ybor City or Soho. You technically didn’t HAVE to drive all the way to St. Petersburg to see more action and nightlife lol. Tampa Bay is a business district, but it’s far from boring in my opinion. Have you been there during a Lightning game? The place is packed! And there are always cool events going on down there.

I’m really not here to drag Tampa. I for most part enjoyed Time there but if ybor (granted it’s quite cultural and vibrant) is your ONLY spot for nightlife that’s pretty bad, dude. Soho actual nightlife can be contained to what? Macdintons and saloon? I’ve lived in Cali, tenessee, and many places here in Texas and Tampa is just different , man. Like for it being beautiful and some spots popping up I really really can’t imagine what it was like ten, fifteen years ago. Must of been a damn ghosttown after dark. Also what’s up with not being able to get decent food besides McDonald’s after 9? I’m not gonna rant. Tampa isn’t trash but it’s a very strange city when you’ve lived other places. Maybes that’s the people I knew but I traveled to Saint Pete all the time because idk the people there were just a lot of fun, seemed to be more places to go, closer to beach. People my age in Tampa were very flaky. And meeting up at armature works for lunch gets old after awhile. Anyways I’m still fond and for all the shit I said I passed through recently and was nice. Bolts games are fun, I miss Cubans, strip clubs, and loose women.

@@David-nq8cm in terms of natural beauty QLD is pry better, weather is pretty similar between the two. I would say to look into what country is going to be easier for you to immigrate to and go from there. You will have more options in terms of big cities to chose from in the u.s. if you get tired of the same city/climate, but australia definitely has some pros of its own. I would look into what country I like better overall then just what area is better if I where you

Not sure of this is just a midday video. But I expected traffic to be so much worse. I live an hour south of tampa and the traffic is terrible all times of the day. I didn't hear a single horn the first 12 min nor did I see as many cars as I expected. That surprised me. Only time I've been to Tampa is Ybor on a Saturday night. And it's a very different scene than what this video showed. Ybor is still nice. Just very crowded. But compared to NYC or Chicago the people in general are nice. Everyone was just trying to have a good time in Ybor

Was this done on a Sunday or Holiday? Traffic is a heck of a lot heavier than this during a business day.

Rewatching this because I’m considering moving there for a few years! I went to Orlando for a week in August and I loved it. I think Tampa would be a better pace for me.
