excellent job. sad to see how built up the area has become. I moved here in 1979, back when Mississauga was full of cows and farms.

Wow, it's now 32 years ago. I remember doing this same drive back then. Great to see the old video clips! Lime Rickey's was open back then. And Don Cherry's Grapevine. Sussex centre had just opened a few yrs before. Kariya drive was being built. The Kaneff buildings dominated the skyline. There was no Heartland town centre. The peel board of education building still remains the same.

Thanks for posting this and the other clip. I lived in Brampton, near Shoppers World, and remember this clearly enough 20 years later. I love seeing the old Mississauga Transit buses, Hurontario with ditches, the lack of highrises, and the Amazing how parts of Mississauga changed so much.

I believe, it just passed where the Heartland Centre is located in today. Some are recognizable but still it's strange. I'm currently living around on Mavis Road and Bristol W.

I've lived here for more then 20 years, actually he passed within 5 min walking distance on this trip, I went to xavier when I was young, it has changed, somethings have gotten worse. I didn't used to lock my door back then, but mostly it's gotten a lot better, hazel did a lot. Kept it working, a bit to much focus on seniors, but it still is a great place and getting better with the new people coming in, for the most part.

Wow. The good ol' days when you could drive from Brittania to Burnhamthorpe down Hwy 10, in the middle of the day, in under 10 minutes! Definitely brings back some good memories.

this has to be in the 80's...Hurontario only has two lanes between eglinton and 403...holy crap could you imagine that today? They need five lanes now. But yeah it seems like they were just starting to expand the road, I see dirt on the side...the robert speak condos arent up either, so this is definitely sometime in the 80's

WOW Mississauga City Centre was already a concrete jungle back then. Now, most of the buildings in the city centre are built in the 2000s. It's gonna be even jam-packed with highrise buildings stretching from Eglinton down to the QEW! It's really nice to see Mississauga transforming from a suburb to a mature city.

I think the cars that were on road all old right now. Each year, the car is changing. But I still like the cars that were in 1980s. Even they are older for now, but I never sit the old car into it before. Hope one day I will find out everything inside of them.

During 1987, we know that from 33 years ago, until now the road from Mississauga only had a little bit of changing. But it is still same for now as 1987. I really hope the road can be better more and more in the future. I also hoping that everything on road is gonna be fine of all time.
