The perfect Forester XT. It has everything it needs. The ideal weekdays commuter/family hauler/grocery getter and Auto-X ready for weekends. Very nice!

Eh not perfect. A jdm ej20 20 with dual avcs heads port matched to an NA intake manifold with a front mount. That's all I'd change. The JDM ej205 is a better motor honesty.

This was my dream for the 99 Forester I have... but my best friend (which was an amazing mechanic & the brains of the operation) passed away a few years ago. The thought of trying to build it w/o him just doesn't seem as fun 😢 I drive his manual NA 06 Forester daily. It's got headers & lowered and all that but the EJ25 leaves much to be desired. So for now...his ride is good enough. I can't believe we're coming up on 4 years now. RIP Devin.

I love the build! Currently done the most of the same mods on my xt! just missing r180 and built motor.

With all the work done to the car, it's got well over 2x more power than stock. It's not just total power, it's power to the wheels. A stock forester xt with 240hp is to the crank, so maybe little over 175-190 to the wheels.

Not really. You're the small % that hates it. I drive an 06 one lowered w/ headers, exhaust blah blah all that crap & ppl LOVE the way it looks and sounds. It's a slow NA, but it gets SO MUCH ❤
