Driving a Sports Car Through the Yukon! Skagway, Alaska on our Princess Cruise!

We're back in Skagway! What an amazing day this was as we explored the Yukon in an electric Ford Mustang from Klondike Electric Car Rentals!
We drove from Skagway, through the Yukon, to the town of Carcross where we visited the Caribou Crossing Trading Post. Along the way, we saw a bear, a porcupine, and some breathtaking scenery! This was such a great and unique experience that we would absolutely do again!

Next time go all the way to Whitehorse. It is a great city. If you can make it to Dawson, do that too. The history of the town is phenomenal, same with Whitehorse.

Where headed to Alaska for a week of air b and b at Seward then onto princess for a week cruise! This is my second time and my husbands 3/4. The whole family is going! Including my son who is 10, my nephew who is 6, and niece 1.5 old. Just wanted to say that princess has a fantastic kid area. My son was 5 last time and he had a blast! I know princess isn’t really known for their children activities but it was the best for us to sit and watch the glacier or the spouts of whales in the distance!

Awesome vlog. I love Skagway...the colorful store fronts. The beautiful scenery. We had breakfast and a show at the Red Onion Saloon (was cute and tasty) then bus took us to gold rush cemetery's and on up the opposite side of white pass. Then we panned for gold. Got some small nuggets. Next time White pass train maybe. We really had a packed day in Skagway. It was awesome. Gosh I love your vlogs. I get to reminisce. I sure hope to go back some day. Thanks Adam and Sherri! Blessings to you both 🙏

I'm so glad I found your channel. My husband and I will be on Grand Princess the end of May/beginning of June 2024. I just rented the car from Klondike Electric and mentioned I found out about the car through you. We had been thinking of the train excursion but really like to explore on our own time schedule. Can't wait!

If you want to see polar bears, recommend you go to Churchill, Manitoba in Oct-November while the tundra buggies are taking tourists out. Polar bears are hanging around there, waiting for Hudson Bay to freeze over.

Hit comment too soon. LOL We stopped in Haines in May. It was a late stop, 7:30-11:30. Not a lot was open, but was still fun to walk around. We did the private small group tour at Port Chilkoot Distillery and it was great! Garret, the tasting room manager, gave us a great tour. Was a the perfect way to end the day.

You do a beautiful job taking in the wonderful Alaska scenery. I can even remember the smell. I miss it so much! Do you know those videos that show landscapes with music and/or the nature noises? Have you ever thought about doing something like that with the footage from your trips? Like a short 15 minute one for a meditative moment. I don't edit, and it sounds like it could be a big project, so I understand why you wouldn't. But maybe we can get one for Christmas please? haha Just an idea! Take Care!

LOVED THIS! Watched the series when you first published and rewatching now for our upcoming Disney Alaska sailing this May, 91 days and counting! We are super torn between doing the Disney port adventure that takes us up on a bus to Carcross and then back down on the train or doing what you guys did and renting a car. It’s my adventurous wife & I plus our almost 17 year old son. What would you say? (Understanding it’s totally subjective) Also now I’m invested in the blanket situation, did you ever find out from your mom if was the same? Haha! Thanks as always for great content that I can watch again & again!

I was lucky enough to have a very good travel year the year before the pandemic. I ended up going through several different countries and my passport was stamped only once! I was looking forward to having stamps and so it was a little disappointing. (International travel is pretty rare for me, so I had no idea passport stamps were phasing out, at least in the regions I visited.)
