Mat, can you confirm that you didn't break any Covid regulations whilst filming this video? You do not strike me as the kind of person that would, but if you could clarify this for your subscribers it will put an end to the murmuring in the comments.Clearly you had accommodation booked so it all looks above board.

Hi Matt, I'm an old petrol head, but I really love your enthusiasm for your cars. I'm fae Glasgow, and having watched a few of your videos I'd say your a bit of a fanny. A lovable, likeable fanny, but still a fanny, and that's probably as close to a compliment you'll get fae me! I've done the Stelvio pass a few times and the NW500 reminds me of that plus it's is only three hours away from where I live. After watching your video it makes me more determined that I'll be looking to cross that of my bucket list very soon. Cheers, and all the best mate.

First TIME EVER I’ve watched a Mat vid on my 60” tv. Made even more epic by the opening shots. Each vid gets better as Mat gets better at shooting & editing.

This has made me feel so homesick. I am from Edinburgh and I have been stuck in Vietnam with my wife and baby since February due to Covid-19. My wife and I got married in January 2020 in Scotland and we did the North Coast 500 as our honeymoon. It was the most incredible experience with great roads, hotels, food and people. Thank you for the video. It has made me cry and bring me closer to home than I have felt in months. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

The roads in Scotland are terrific, I am old enough to have driven them on numerous occasions, before speed cameras were invented.

It is so nice to see someone with a car like that to do a 'proper' trip about the UK somewhere, proper UK weather, UK roads, just generally enjoying what the UK has to offer rather than all glam and money abroad somewhere! Keep it up dude, awesome stuff. Looks like all 3 of you thoroughly enjoyed it!

My partner and I hired a camper van and took on the north coast 500. It was amazing and the views were unreal. We also went the Bealach na Ba route. Doing it in a camper van was very nerve racking, with on coming traffic to navigate and the very real danger of slipping off the road as edges of the road blend in with the mountain. I get anxiety just thinking about it. It really is a crazy pass and not for the faint of heart. Defo for the car enthusiast. I would love to try it in a car! Great video Mat and the car looks amazing.

Drove that road back in 1974 but went up the west coast then across the top and down to Inverness in a Bedford Dormabile 7 of us camping gear and all. Still a life highlight today almost 50 years later have a wonderful 2021 and by the way Kevin is the perfect name for Kevin

Taking a low car on the NC500 is always fun. Took my 350z up there last year and google maps sent us over a mountain to get back to the main road. Barely made it back with everything underneath still attached! Good times
