I passengered twice in one of these. It was a gut wrenching brutal experience that took me two days to recover from. I had no idea of the forces involved at that speed. I expected it to go projectile into the next paddock at each corner, but it didn't. It was always 100m ahead of where my brain was. Gave me a lot more respect for those quick witted enough to drive these machines at their limits. Not sure if I would repeat the exercise.

i have 2 quastions. 1. Why is the engine temp High notification poping up within 2 seconds? And second, how was the forcefeedback? was it realistic?

Hoooooly shit this looks unreal! I’m about to pull the trigger and rent one of these for my birthday coming up. I have yet to drive a downforce car irl but I’m hopeful that with a lot of practice plus some instructor laps, I can put down some laps to be proud of.

James, great to see you driving in real life once more, as others have said! I am preparing to drive the Evo 2 here in the US come February, and thus my question is, how and what was your approach and experience to driving the ST Evo 2 overall, especially in the braking and cornering phase? I know and have heard that these things are quite twitchy and slip-prone by virtue of the tires they use, the layout of the car and the brakes being the street brakes....or at least they were in the first iteration. My experience has been some (very) minor Porsche GT4, GT3 Cup, rally/rally raid, and Touring Car racing.

As always a pleasure watching you push the car mate 👌

Hi, Just wanted to say I love these videos and I have a quick question please.. Where exactly is the camera mounted? I ask this as I am an avid SIM RACER and try to get a realistic field of view to match real life. Thank you.

Love driver's eye videos! By the way, how fast are these compared to GT3s? I do know the old ST cars were quite a bit slower, but these ones seem to have a lot more aero than even the GT3s

This has more power but less downforce compared with a GT3, slightly slower overall laptime as a result of the slower cornering speeds.

@@Jaaames The audio in this was better than the spa 24 hours for sure but you'll be astonished to see how much of a difference a zoom h1 or a microphone like that can make, it'll completely remove the distortions from the audio
