The trainer didn't have no patience whatsoever and had an attitude problem plus he disrespected me and kicked me off the truck I had to paid to get back to the terminal and back home and was told that prime would paid me back for it and never happened.so I would never go otr or regional I been working for team cone company.

Hey Rex I'm surprised you don't bring little ramps you can back your trailer on when you're unloading so the gravity pulls all of that someone they do the the clean out of your tank they they take every bit of it out you know before that you get to the Tank Wash that's why you don't have little ramps you back right up on you know when you get close then you allow like 10 ft and then you just roll up on those blocks and it gives that gravity a little bit easier to dump out cuz I've had to do that with like Ocean Spray when you're dumping corn syrup you back up on ramps the tractor does and it just gives that gravity that much more but I had 109 ft trailer so 5-axle 5 super singles 5 super single tires on each side

My truck is a Standard lease so I won’t own it! It’s a walk away lease. I’m currently saving up the down payment money to do a lease purchase on another new truck! How it works is $5,000 down when you order your truck then $9,000 when your truck arrives. It takes 6-7months for your truck to arrive after you’ve ordered it online. Hope this helps! Also every year you work for prime they take $1,000 off the down payment. October is 2yrs for me so I need $12,000 total.

Do you have to run 95 north or Richmond? Or is it a choice? I'm showing up to Prime for orientation in 2-ish weeks. I've been OTR doing drive away and other stuff since 2018. Draw a line from Cleveland, to Pittsburg, down to Richmond... and I like to stay west of that. I find the money isn't worth the stress and danger of the roads (and people).

The way you have your recaps setup you can run off recaps for a long time IF you do 8 and half or 9 hour days. That will keep you on the road for a long time because you'll end up banking time to use later if you hit traffic or a shipper/receiver holds you up. Also if you know how to play around with splits you can use that to your advantage. For example, I often would start a split and do the minimum needed 2 hours to officially activate it. I'd do this if I knew that I was going to be at a shipper/receiver for that long. What that would do is it would freeze the On-Duty/Drive clock. So then I had two options. The first is to just do a normal split and PC to a truck stop/truck parking spot and simply complete the 8 hours to get my hours back faster. The second option is I could "spoil" my split and simply use the fact that it would freeze my clock to continue running. Granted I'd still have to complete a 10 hour rest when I ran out of hours but I could "run for longer" because 1.) my on-duty and drive clock got halted while I was at a shipper/receiver and 2.) I could continue my day/night and keep driving after I loaded or unloaded. Now I don't know if Prime still allows for that to happen but I used to use that trick all the time when I just wanted to keep rolling when I knew I was going to be stuck at a shipper or receiver for more then 2 hours. Especially if I wanted to ensure that I could time my hours so that I could find truck parking when my day/night ended. P.S. You can do a split using any combination. So you could do 2 hr/8 hr or 8 hr/2 hr split or 7 hr/3 hr split or 3 hr/7 hr, etc. The key is you need at least a minimum of 2 hours completed to gain the benefits of starting a split. Otherwise it will not refund you the time back from when you started and so you will not have frozen your clock. Feel free to consult your logs manager. That's how I figured this out back when I was working with Prime.

Not exactly planning...because the flex paper logs could give you is not there with the ELD's...the old "X miles a day" is just not possible anymore unless you get perfect traffic...paper you could fudge it here and there to make it work. Why once I get my CDL back up and running I wont drive "by the mile". Stick to local and HOURLY...then traffic I dont care about as much.
