Me too I am Canadian and my nephew made Drake famous and many others too.....

Shania has such a great voice and dominant voice and she is an awesome performer. I can’t seem to get over that in interviews Shania is such nice understated person. She let’s interviewers say things that aren’t correct or whatever, she just smiles or laughs and never confronts a dumb question. She is great at timing and letting the comedian type interviews get in their jokes. I am so amazed at all the “different looks” Shania has...she can be so sophisticated and glamorous and then her look can be very athletic and outdoorsy. Love her.

Best Northern Country singer along with Paul Brandt i ever seen or heard. Nothing but Love and respect! Mutt Lang is nuts imo! LoL

Shania is something else and brings joy to so many people.....a beautiful person, she got her drive from her mom.

I saw Shania live two years a go and I have been a fan since I was 7 years old back in 95. Her first three albums were the best!

Her early manager and dear friend Mary Bailey is EPIC and a trail blazer!!! Thanks for this upload Spock ;-) Wow, just watched her most recent BBC Reel Stories 2024 interview. She claimed to have stage fright. Didn't like touring because she was on her own.... Suppose that's where the drive came from especially her up bringing. Her mother taught n raised her well. Like a mother raises her chick's. So, glad she's back and headlining legends at Glastonbury 2024. Pity she chose to move away to Switzerland. Was right for her and there is a time and place for everything. Love from Cambridge 🇬🇧

Her looks are refreshing and soft and so many things, what a wonderful person and talent...I am so proud of her as she is from my home town Windsor, Ontario, Canada. and we were born in jn the same hospital, Grace, and I was going to beak into country music but got side tracked. And loved raising my kids. Funny , I was jealous of Madonna when she came out and her name is Madonna Louise Veronica, and mine is Donna Louise and I have a sister named Veronica....I wasnt jealous of Shania, you just love her.

I love Shania. Though the truth is, her meeting, and working with Mutt Lange was the best thing for her. No way in hell would her songs, and career would have been as big without having met Mutt Lange. She might have done somewhat well without him, but he was what she needed to take her songs, and career to a whole other level. Without him, I doubt she would have been as big.

Miss Shania! We were born the same year, 1965. We both dealt with a reclusive mother, alcoholic father. Wore shoes from thrift store that was like the teachers wore, food was scarce! We had potatoes for an entire week once for dinner. I did have to sit in cafeteria with no lunch, but under 10 times. Lost my father @ 17, husband @ 21. Left me with 2 babies in diapers. Got 2 jobs. And my baby brother was born mentally handicapped. I was a mother before I gave birth. Due to my mother's illness, I had to be the strength for sisters & brother. God bless THE CHILDREN!! That go through such hard times. WE are strong. But, we can't always be strong every minute. I love ya! Keep going & thank you for sharing!!!

There was more to Shania's early beginning. Her real biological father walked out of her family's life when she was 2. When her stepfather came in, he was very abusive. Shania also came from a very poor family and they were trying to save up money to get food on the table.

Its really sad that country music fans were so awful to her for doing poppy country back then. I bet they'd give anything to have more artists and songs like this now, since all country music is straight up hip hop and pop now with literally no element of country.
