Mazda 6 really looks everlasting.. Even still relevant after almost 5years

I drive my father toyota 2011 camry, the handling was very good, i dont know why people so hate toyota, yes i acknowledge that UMW does not give the best spec for the car, but at least the resale value must be considered; like the one who interferred in your video.

The Mazda6 is the best car.

I love Toyota Camry. It's good and reliable. This is a family car, not a sport car. But if you want to drive fast like 200 km/hr. It can do it. What else can you ask?

After 6 years the best resale value 1st Camry, 2nd Accord, 3rd Mazda 6 and last spot i40. In term of reliability 1st Camry, 2nd i40, 3rd Mazda 6 and last goes to Accord. This is my informal survey from automotive industry in 2020. Accord may score good in this review but the build quality is far beyond expectation. Camry maybe the most boring car to drive but again it is century proof of its reliability.

Absolutely correct words. It’s gonna be seen more later years then the others. It has reliability and good acceleration nothing much more needed. About boring thing well it’s reliable and don’t cost pocket like the others

No matter how worst Camry was,she's my number 1 dream car forever.Yes it was the worst Camry at that era but to be honest,it was the best design for Camry,just UMW Toyota didn't add a lot of features in this car,lack of auto headlight,extra cost for head unit,4 airbags and 2.5V only have VSC,it's the worst thing.The best Camry design but the worst feature the Camry has.

If I am a Honda dealer right now, I will put this video at my showroom and play it on endless loop. Or go in front of Toyota show room, put big screen with subtitles and have it on endless loop :P

Mazda 6 means it has 6 cd changer. Although some only come with 1 cd input. But they decided to keep the 6 to cover all models as one can upgrade to 6 cd changer😎hope that clears up any confusions

Definitely the best episode ever! And finally someone point out that Toyota are overrated! Toyota doesn't live up to the hype anymore! Well done and looking forward to the next season. And I do hope that the video can be a little bit longer, like 15 - 20 minutes? So I can take out my junk food every time i watch Driven :D

Come on, I drive the Mazda 6 everyday. The gearbox does just fine when you want to push the car. Ease up on the throttle and it becomes pliant. No qualms there.

You guys don't get the 2.2 Skyactiv diesel engine? That blows all of these petrols out of the water. It has more grunts (420Nm) and much better fuel ecomony (range). Also, the Mazda manual is better and more economical than the automatic.

The mazda 6 definitely should have won the comparison. It has better styling and fuel economy. The price factor only comes in because mazda 6 is cbu from japan and honda is ckd from melaka. That should not be the determining factor. Plus, honda uses a cvt which takes the fun out of the drive, mazda uses sky active that achieves what it promises; better fuel economy and fun to drive with better horsepower than honda, togethet with the I-e loop regenerative braking system. No contest in my opinion.

As they mentioned, no doubt Mazda 6 is certainly the best driver's car. But we are not comparing a performance car. There are many people buying the D-segment family car is due to the space and comfort. Which Paultan guys think the Accord is better all rounder.

While I may not agree with you 100%, the one thing we'd both agree on is that the Toyota is the worst of the three and like Apple, people buy them because they are emotionally tied to them.

My Camry 2.5v 2012, I had a general check at Toyota CASA for any issues & couldn't find any issues at all. All I need to replace later is the brake pads lol. I wonder how's car now?

Honda is the best here. The K24 engine is one of the best 4cyl engines ever.

great work guys... can see the improvement on every episodes... good that there is a Msia market comparison for local consumer benefit... rather than previously we would based on the review of EU or US specs to make our judgement... which could be very misleading as its spec differs from the market here... so kudos...

The Lexus is a camry with a slightly bigger cabin and some more luxury features, but you pay a ton of money for it. Come on guys, you can do better than that.

camry has a timing chain...as far as I know(last checked in 2011) Honda was still a mickey mouse timing belt and mazdas will have other problems...so unless your putting the Toyota against a kia then its a no brainer

Ehem! Sorry i had to reply a 7 years old comment, but i have this 9th generation accord..which it uses a timing chain.

Hope to see more car comparisons in the future. Preferably from the luxury segment such as Mercedes vs BMW vs Audi vs Lexus

I would have suggested to also compare against the Kia Optima K5 2.4

All model are the best.. But honda accord is the good among the best!

Mileage is important and the Mazda gets the best at 13.1km/L. Its a beautiful car. but i can't afford any of them anyway.

I drove Camry 2.5v in 2012 till now still the best.! Being claimed mileage 150k still pretty good condition and no major repairing. As normal tear & wear tyres, battery and break pad. How others Accord, Teana, Mazda 6, BMW, MB and others? Please share how they are drove for 6 years with over 150k mileage.

Honda tries to give you the longest and biggest dick at a reasonable price. It TRIES to project a luxury prestige image. Big rims, ample leg room..etc. The usual stuff. But when you look closely at its interior, its actually cheap materials. No luxury at all. When you drive it, theres not much difference vs the previous Accord. After all, its just an ACCORD. Its not even a quiet car, and thats why ANC must be used, but in real life, ANC is not that effective. Most Hondas hv never been known for being relatively quiet. On the same note, the Mazda CX5 has the same problem. Giving you the "biggest" looking hunk of metal you can buy at a specific price and seducing you with its cheap price. Enticing you with its huge handsome look. But thats all. It cant deliver the other stuff.

Where is Vw passat?

If I had to choose, I would most likely get the Mazda 6... It looks the best both inside and out and has the better performance on paper. And I'm almost certain it has the better resale value.

They didn't mention anything about the Mazda 6 technology like the adaptive cruise control, blind spot mirrors light, emergency auto braking, I eloop energy regenerating, rear camera with parking warning, the 11 Bose speakers, the excellent leather finish, and a lot lot more. In addition that it's performance is much much better than the rest yet with better fuel efficiency. Sorry guys but you didn't do ur homework before the show.

Does the Hyundai desiel engine sounds same as the BMW 520d? Or it louder?

FYI, the Camry built for Malaysia has HID headlamps and headlight washers and you said it did not in the video, way to misinform people. In any case, this video is opinion. What exactly is wrong with the Camry interior compared to the others? It didn't look any less dated than the Mazda interior..... I sense Toyota haters. I will stick with JDpower and Consumer Reports.

Bright Ivan If it were a 'fact' why is the Camry the #1 selling car in America? Why is it also #1 ranked in the mid-sized car segment in Consumer Reports. There are a lot of Toyota and Camry haters out there, now that is fact. You can say that the car sucks, yet you don't say how it sucks.

He said mazda6 is programmed to jump fast to gear 4 and the zoom is compromised. I have driven 626, xedos9, tribute and now cx9 and i can tell that gear 4 serves as an overdrive for a 6 speed mazda..I noticed that there are some delays most especially in 2 when you wish to zoom and it consumes fuel there while other car overtakes you and as soon as i get on 4 i meet up with ones who overtook me and zoom off..So if they programmed it in mazda6, thats my prayer answered ..cant wait to drive that mazda6..gunning for it now...it takes a mazda die hard to understand what mazda is doing

Lots of people with check books voted for Obama too....that doesn't make Camry buyers informed, intelligent, discerning car buyers - Just Kool aid drinkers lapping up the $ for mantra, the constant, ancient, moronic claims of 'toyota resale' like it's still 1998 (only thing resembling the market today with 1998 is the platforms most new Toyotas are still being built on LOL!) and the morons that over pay for 2 year old Toyotas! With rental fleets being filled with camrys you can be rest assured for resale value the 3rd gen Mazda 6 will smoke the Camry like equipped in 5 years, the superior parts, build quality, everything about the 6 smokes the Camry and considering how few 6's sell and reeking for an econo box with that intangible 'it' factor, they will be coveted by enthusiast type car buyers for years. Remember you read it here Phil.

Wow, you sound like a racist, just kidding there, making six figures selling new and used cars does make me more of expert than you though, I think anyone with a brain can figure that out. ------ What makes Hondas and Toyotas worth more starts in the corner garage in Clintonville Ohio where the mechanic advises a single mother who needs a car for her college-age daughter that she should buy her a civic or a Corolla because he hardly evers see them in his shop, and when he does they're over ten years old. It starts at a taxi stand in LaHore Pakistan where the owner calls a broker and orders more Camrys and Accords, that creates demand in the USA. You don't see twenty year old Mazda 626's tooling around the allys of Mumbai and Naorobi, no they're Accords and Camrys. You see it isn't about snazzy design, and swell gimmicks, its about year after year building a better car. Those people with check books who voted for Obama, are a lot more careful when they spend their own money, they're just not careful spending ours. :)

Read the fucking software engineers science yet Phil? The only thing Toyota does year after year is update 20 yr old platforms with cheaper components. Your replys remind me of how Al Gore and James Hansen act when asked to debate anthropogenic climate change in a public forum. You want to talk about everything but relevant points. Funny Phil two former Toyota mechanics I talked too who worked for the Yota in the 80's and 90's talk about secretly fixing defects and not usually telling the customer who though he was getting only a free oil change. Work on cars Phil? Didn't think so. toyota build quality never was that great but today is abominable.

Who has the number one selling sedan for the last 11 years? It sure as Hades isn't Mazda. I am a bettin man, and I'll take the Camry again this year. The Mazda isn't even close. Why wouldn't you think someone who has made a six figure salary selling new Toyotas and used Mazdas, wouldn't know a thing or two about cars? odd?

It's just Malaysian spec Camry's, you know how many airbags it has? Only 2!!! How is that acceptable, American Camry's get at least 6 airbags and are 3 to 4 times cheaper. I would rather opt for a safer and cheaper option, not to mention their 4 speed auto

In Australia Toyota Camry come standard with 6 air bags and is better

You guys are awesome, nice comparison. You can't get wrong to buy either a Honda Accord or Mazda 6. I have stepped in both showroom many times but still not making final decision. I just found that the rear seat of Accord is not comfortable for more than 2 passengers due to the slanted side and protruding center...

Brothers, very proud to see a Malaysian car review on you tube...you guys are really awesome and hilarious presenter...keep it up! I also read a lot of comment from Paul Tan. He is simply one the best automobile reviewer in our country.... However, I don't think you review on this 3 cars are comprehensive enough. A lot of important details and facts of the cars are not highlighted.....yes definitely in terms of price Mazda is the most expensive due to CBU....however, for D segment in overall, Mazda 6 rules....Mazda 6 should not be the 2nd as Accord is no where in comparison in overall specs....hope to have a better reviews in next season.....

This Accord that is sold in the US is huge! We had trouble driving around some European roads in out Volvo V60, and the Accord is about two feet longer, and half a foot wider! It barely fits In our gain 2 car garage it's so long. I would much rather have the smaller European accord (Acura TSX RIP).

Haha, these videos really do crack me up.. Its not too technical and really funny. Mostly because of the accent and culture references. NICE!

Btw, i get around 13km/L when driving camry, you should considered how well you driving.
