In Ireland we do this. We don’t have like a “tractor day” but people go into school in tractors all year round. Although most of the time it’s their fathers that drive them in because they need the tractor during the day to work but I remember like 2 years ago a group of maybe 20 13-19 year olds all drove their tractors into school halfway through the day and the entire school was blocked off because it took up the driveway 😂

Me: Mom I wanna buy tractor Mom: son why are you wanting to buy that you gonna use it for nothing Me: it for school

in finland we go to schools with tractors any day u want (u need to have a license obviously)

here in Austria i could also drive evry day to School with tractor but 20km is a bit far when thinking About comfort and diesel useage

Used to work in a place that sold the Manuel’s for these old tractors, then learned during pandemic, that these can be updated to GPS! The rights for software is still held by the makers! AMAZING!!

I love this one day of the year sadly I couldn't bring my 8R this year because of covid 19 😪

Why make fun of them because they were born into a non farming family. In America today it is almost impossible to start a farm from the ground up so ease off. We can’t even get along about kids driving the only tractor they could to school

Those kids or ppl who make fun of yall, they won't be laughing when the farmers decide to cut the crop supply to the grocery stores. Farmers literally feed the country, and the next generation of farmer that'll feed my future family. no doubt about it, they are as vital as truckers, train crews, and ship crews, but 1 level higher cuz they are the beginning of the food chain. Thank you to ALL FARMERS AROUND THE WROLD! And sadly farmers don't make much and the sale price of crops haven't gone up in years, than again we be paying like $5 a lb for bananas or corn. I hope us regular folk recognize yalls sacrifice.

I wish school was this fun when I went there. Instead, it was mostly hiding or being punished for defending myself against bullies.

I remember being the only one being punished by the teacher, I wasn’t even involved in the fight, they were fighting and someone pushed me for no reason, and I was the one punished

I remember seng tractor day at a local school back 20 yrs ago, and since the school's was nicknamed the 'Rebels' they flew a rebel flag on their tractors, along with the US flag, and we live in Ohio.

You can drive your tractor to school, no one is stopping you. In Finland we drive to school with a tractor everyday

In Norway we don't have tractor to school day but we have a tractor train every year on 17th of May becuase it is our national day and all of the people in my area come and sees when we drive tractors in just 5-10 km/h. and all of us on 10th grade and are from a farm always drive tractors to and from school and the teachers don't realy cear if we drive or walking to school :)

At the high school in my valley in Norway they drive tractor to school every day

When my high school was founded ( in the 50s) it actually had hitching posts

Farmers don't typically make much, the older looking tractors are usually cheaper, but the new ones you will not get for under 100k. I think they get government support
