Dublin, TX is a small town located in Erath County in Texas. It has a population of roughly 3,500 people.
Dublin, Texas is known for being the home of a bottling plant for Dr. Pepper, a popular American soft drink similar to Coca Cola.
In this tour we will drive past the historic old town area of Dublin, Texas. We will drive past the bottling plant museum and the Dublin Dr. Pepper soda fountain. It is now called the Dublin Bottling Company. There was a documentary about the Dublin Bottling Company called, "Bottled Up: The Battle Over Dublin Dr. Pepper."
Dublin, Texas is also the childhood home of golfer Ben Hogan. There is a museum for Ben Hogan that we will drive past on the tour.
We will also see a large soda bottle on the side of the road in honor of the local Dublin Bottling Company.
This is a relaxing driving video in a historic old small town in rural Texas. During this chill drive we will pass a lot of rural highway and houses, as well as some agricultural industry. This is a high definition immersive tour that will let you feel like you are really on an American road trip driving through Dublin, Texas.
The end of the video features a very short train passing on the train tracks, and honking its horn.

Does anyone live there. It's a bit deserted looking. Bit of a ghost town by all appearances. Very spread out, low rise, uncongested. Thanks for the virtual trip.

I live in a the rival town in Comanche but yeah Dublin isn’t deserted just spread out and both towns are full of old people who don’t have anything to do but garden and watch TV

All I pretty much see is the road ahead & everything is going by too fast !!!
Should give the history behind the town, and places while your going along. Right off the bat there were so many awesome places with great stories. Like Gene Autries own personal jail he had behind the old hotel, and on the same grounds. That's where the sheriff would put him when he's had to much to drink
