Drive of Tellico Plains, Tennessee, Tellico River Road | Driving Sounds for Sleep and Study

Join us for a scenic drive through Tellico Plains, Tennessee and the Tellico River Gorge Wilderness. The Cherokee and Nantahala National Forests and the Bald River Gorge Wilderness are dear to me. My first memories on this planet were formed camping in these mountains with my Dad back in the 1970s. We hope you enjoy.
4K video drive for relaxation, stress relief, meditation, study and sleep. As with all my videos, this is not looped or layered, this is a real-time recording, filmed by me, using the best mobile microphones, cameras and audio recorders available for extremely realistic results.
"Tellico Plains is a vintage mountain town in East Tennessee, at the gateway to the Cherohala Skyway and the Cherokee National Forest. Here in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, a simpler pace of life prevails, where friends rendezvous at the bakery; local artisans sell their fine arts, crafts, and furnishings; and the local "Cookie Caper" fundraiser is a favorite annual Christmas event.
The surrounding rolling farmlands and weathered barns paint a picturesque landscape, with layers of mountain ridges and peaks as a backdrop. Small-scale agriculture endures, with beef and dairy farms along the winding country roads and free-range chickens sometimes demanding the right of way! Kayakers flock here when the mountain waters run high, motorcyclists love touring the scenic Skyway - a National Scenic Byway, and fishermen seek reward with the wild and stocked fish in the Tellico, Bald, Citico, and North Rivers. The Tellico Plains area is a rich and diverse natural habitat for an amazing variety of birds, wild animals, and vegetation - over 20,000 species of plants, mammals, reptiles, and fish.
Outdoor recreational opportunities are plentiful, with hiking, camping, picnicking, swimming, bicycling, boating, fishing, hunting, sight-seeing and more. Backpackers can discover secluded unspoiled wilderness, protected in the 640,000-acre Cherokee National Forest. Tellico Plains is proud to be a Trail Town, as designated by the Southeastern Foot Trails Coalition (SEFTC) and the Benton MacKaye Trail Association (BMTA) in 2014. Bald RIver Falls, just a short drive into the Cherokee National Forest from the center of Tellico Plains, cascades nearly 100 feet, and is easily viewed from the roadside, making it a popular area landmark. The Coker Creek Gold Festival heralds autumn with old-fashioned family fun, and music in the Town Square gazebo attracts crowds for Independence Day. Remnants of traditional Appalachian mountain heritage are evident and appreciated, and Cherokee roots in this area are preserved and celebrated."

Where this video ends I took my jeep up that road and it turned to gravel/dirt up the mountain one lane. I drove it for about 15 minutes got scared it would dead end and turned around before I got stuck. Where the heck does that road go? Could see houses below me.

This video made me so happy. I grew up in the house behind the wagon wheel at the 1:30 mark. My Grandfather was the Mayor of Tellico in the 1990's. They sold it in 1993 and moved to Paris,Tn. They both passed away recently. Not sure if you can help me out. I really would love to get in touch with the owners of the house. We had a P.O Box so there is no way that I can remember the address, I'm 46:) I have lots of older photos of the house, and a lot of history about who owned the house before them.
