This was the day after the election and I wasn't even paying attention. Between DBT and Tedeschi-Trucks we sure have some compelling music! I'm 66 and I think the DTB are some of the very best we have ever had.

Here Come the Mummies, Lucero, The White Buffalo, Blackberry Smoke, DBT, Travis Harris, My Morning Jacket. In my opinion some of the hardest working musicians in the business.

This was the night after the 2016 election and the mood in the Union Transfer was that of a funeral. Everyone (band included) needed this show to restore some semblance of sanity. No one left disappointed.

There's a great World Cafe Live interview where Patterson talks about how this was one of the best shows the band has ever played. He remembers it vividly b/c it was the night after the 2016 election.

Rewatching this today. Missed the Orlando show last night because my old pibble Gracie is pretty ill and I didn't want to leave her. We're headed to the vet tomorrow and keeping our fingers crossed. Thanks for making this available. It's my favorite DBT show on KZread BTW.

I saw them 2 weeks ago in KCMO, their first show after a 4 month layoff. My brother and I ran into Cooley walking alone on the sidewalk, it made a great beginning to a great show! Thanks for putting this show out there, the day after the election and they are PISSED, Haha," Hell No I Ain't Happy" is the new anthem.

I didn't know until recently that the band doesn't use written setlists. You can see PH motion to the FOH sound guy to get ready, you're playing guitar on the next song. Audible on the spot!

Yea what's up with the part at 58:58 where guitar player toasts to white supremacy? I'm guessing that it's a joke since they also have the BLM sign. But what's the point of telling offensive jokes if they're not funny?

this show was the night after trump got elected and they were upset about it. pretty sure what cooley said was in the heat of the moment. more sarcasm than humor there
