Subbed. This is what I’ve been waiting for, for years. Thankyou Delta Lou, you really play this, although I play on 12 you’ve opened my eyes to this songs layout, Thankyou again. Nice singing too. Such snappy action.

Great! OH you are set with the 12 brotha. I 'should' be playing McTell on the 12, but for teaching purposes it's too much. Let me know how it's sounding for you. I have 8 other great lessons on McTell you also need to checkout. IF you can, the e-book is worth it. It's my finest work thus far. Its the E-Book im most proud of, cause of the difficulty involved. Cheers!

Delta Lou It sounds perfect Lou, it just works now, I’ve had to try figure it out by ear and I didn’t realise how many little tricks there are in this, McTell is my favourite guitar player and that’s why I do play 12 string, it translates fine, it’s just like the recording to my ears now, it is quite difficult I will admit although I’ve only been playing for 12 years and 12 string for 2. I’m going to make it my mission to absorb all your teachings Lou because it’s as if you’re sent by god to deliver this at such a time in my life, again - Thankyou.

@@TheeJamber That's so awesome! That's why I do this. So that this music survives and that it's a resource for musicians around the world. I carefully transposed 9 songs for lessons to account for his stylings in various keys... C, G, D (Dropped D), and E. It should be a good starting point for the learner who studies McTell. I could make a volume 2 in the future focusing on his work on the slide guitar and such. Enjoy the lessons, and if you have questions about other songs. Let me know!

Delta Lou Honestly brother, thankyou for keeping this music alive, it feels very important to me, being 22 I’m a bit of an outsider to this stuff especially living in England. There’s nothing else I’d rather do, you have absolutely mastered it, I’m extremely interested in your work, you sell it I’ll buy it for sure, you’ve done a lot for me already and I appreciate it more than I can express, keep on keeping on Lou my brother.

That's so awesome. This sounds a lot like what I went through. I'm in my mid 30s' now but I spent all of my 20's mastering the music; playing 8 hours a day. Agreed, that most people find it unusual to listen to music from the Great Depression era haha. You would be surprised how little interest and knowledge there is about this music in the USA. It took the 'British invasion' in the 60's for Americans to realize they were sitting on a treasure chest. I can thank Eric Clapton for taking me on this rabbit hole journey. Without him, i'd never know who Robert Johnson was! Def check out my website www.deltaloumusic.com to check out the variety of free E-books. Most of my stuff is free, and I charge for only the rare stuff to keep up with website costs and such. I've got hundreds of songs I want to transpose still, but finding time is hard. Your words are inspiration though...I need to hear it from people that what i'm doing makes a difference. Thanks brotha! @@TheeJamber
