I lived on meadowburn for five years, I was originally from Liverpool, does anyone remember me. My friends were victor mackay , John Hamilton, john mills, Julie whitson, Ann smith Rona mackay to name a few.

Unfortunately, I don't remember your name Norman. I lived at 15 Glendale Drive for two years with my Gran and Grandad when my parents fell out. This was back in 1953. I went back to them and when they fell out again a few months later, I lived with my Gran and Grandad again, but this time at 15 Kentigairn terrace. My best friend was Reggie Archer from Ruthven Place and I knew the Skeltons and the Diamonds from Buchanan Crescent.

I used to live on Springfield road. It's not changed much. A couple of care homes have been built on callieburn and springfield. All the old roughcast semi detached around auchinairn and northgate have been demolished and new estates built. Oh! And Bishopbriggs High is no more. They built a new school on the old Tomas Muir grounds and put the kids from both schools there. Great video by the way. I still remember those cones being outside the house for what seemed like months.

Damn i was 20 years old living here when this was filmed . I was looking out for myself but i actually think i saw my wee brother getting off that schoolbus on beach road lol.

My brother used to live at 13 kentigern terrace and the house across the road you showed the burke family lived there that would have been the late seventys

it had old GEC traffic lights down at the cross instead of the Siemens LED prototype with the eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee noise
