When I was a kid I thought that the chord behind him was a spine that connected to the platform and the legs where just “mandibles” to help him manouver and use as “hands”

Out of every game I've played, drill-X is still in my top 20 favorite bossfights. Its a boss that sorta makes sense, while also being really cool with nice attack patterns. Not to mention its song really helped it be a memorable boss battle.

I’ve always liked fighting him. I miss Skylanders...

I think it was fine the series ended, they were starting to feel not as good. At least they left off with Imaginators, something fans always wanted was so make their own skylanders so they got that in the last game.

Yume Kaida couldn’t have said it better. The Iron Fist of Arkus in the show only summons a conquertron meanwhile in the games it summons your own Arkeyan king robot outfit, an ARMY of Arkeyan war machines, and who knows how many small Arkeyan minions. lol just goes to show what a huge disappointment it all was

Drill X is the best boss fight, Very enjoyable ! The Rap is still awesome to this very day!

This was honestly my favorite boss fight from Giants apart from the Kaos fight.

Skylanders giants really was the best skylanders game. Nothing after giants felt like what skylanders was meant to be, this is the only installment in the series where the events of the last game were actually shown in the beginning like there is supposed to be a skylanders series plot, not to mention how the villains of this game were actually already established.

This level scared the shit out of me as a kid

I honestly love all the games (I'm a bit iffy on Imaginators though, admittedly) and almost all of the characters, but Drill-X is easily one of my favourite bosses, even if he was a one-time thing. This guy drops some sick bars 👌

3:36 I never once got that angle for Drill-X falling after being beaten. It always showed the first, like, 5 seconds of it then immediately cuts back to the angle of the Skylanders on the platform.
