My observation: Drill sounds more nihilistic and gritty, while Trap sounds more hedonistic. Drill sounds like they're talking in the future/past tense. Trap's lyrical approach speaks more in the present tense Drill sounds way more angry and aggressive while Trap sounds a tad more laid back, more confident and cocky; more room for party anthems. Drill has harsher sounding and more bombastic production while Trap sounds more laid back and smooth. Drill artist deliveries typically sound faster and plays with more vernacular while Trap sounds slower and repetitive. Am I getting any of this right?

I think the boundaries between the genres are not clearly defined. Therefore, they appear really blurred to me. Some of the music people consider drill music, it sounds A LOT like what Fredo Santana and Chief Keef were doing back in the day (lyrically and content wise), and we considered and define it as a collective ( the culture) to be trap music. And the production is fairly similar if not the same. Early lex luger, young chop and others. .. In my opinion, and what I have so far been able to tell is that drill music is trap music with British accent in it... That's my 2 cents....
