How close can you plant them do they blend together?

First, I must say MY KNOCKOUT ROSES ARE GORGEOUS! Second, the founder of Knockout founded the Drift Roses! I'm sure they'd not care for you degrading only their best selling Rose Bush EVER! With that said, I love both! I have 2 Drift Roses (Peach Drift and Pink Drift) and they're beautiful and have such a sweet scent. I can't make up my mind which is my favorite but favor the Peach Drift for it's multi colored flowers! I have my sights set on one more Drift which is the Sweet Drift that seems to be hidden at the stores!

I just bought 4 for my flower bed. Any suggestions on what material I should plant them in? Compost? Peat moss? I live in NE Oklahoma and have rocky clay soils.
