10:58 endlich hatts geklappt, übung macht den Meister. Kurven verbinden ist halt die hohe Kunst des Driftens. Mit Abstand bester im Vid. RESPEKT!!! Wenn ich mir das ganze so anschaue dann bin ich richtig stolz ein e34 (540i 6Gang 25%Sperre) Fahrer zu sein, auch wenn meine Fahrkünste da nicht mithalten können. GRÜSSE!!!

Well the track is in Germany, so you have to expect german cars. And if they are drifting it sure as hell wont be audi's as those are all wheel drive.

ERK77VI you must not watch formula drift or australian drift championships. They run on all kinds of surfaces and lots of the vehicles they are running are awd.

This video just sold me on the Ring Taxi. Definitely going to have to do that when I visit Germany.

the guy on the e30 was killing it...

BMW really love to drift! To be a good drift car, the front must have better traction than rear. All rear wheels have to do under drifting is kick traction out. With locked limited slip under sport+ and short gear, they nailed it. All the front wheels have to do is grip. With a steeper caster angle and steeper negative camber angle, they nailed it again. I also have to mention the damping stiffness of BM is right there. Not too soft not too stiff. Perfect stiffness for weight transfer at high speed. I do love the characteristic of M cars. Wonder why people saying BM have no soul. They do have. Merc and Audi don't.

Why are people complaining about too many BMW’s; it’s a drift/power-slide compilation, in Germany - what did they expect? I did feel for the poor guys trying to get a quick lap in and stuck behind the E34 though!

Garry Fillingham you can go sporty, but if you have to go a bit slower for 3-4 turns, because an e34 is going beast mode, then i think its ok. Because you dont have a lap time to think about. just fun.

Fair enough - I reckon being held-up for only 3-4 turns is optimistic though; you'd need a big pair to pass him for the few seconds he wasn't sideways! I'm not denying that it was hilarious to watch!
