- Hi there, folks. Drew Pittman with the Beatty Pittman Team. I hope you're doing great and having a wonderful spring so far. I am back in Landfall today. We have a wonderful new listing on Medeira Court that I wanted to mention. It's a beautiful patio home that's been renovated and tastefully decorated by the interior designer/owner, and it is on the market for the mid eights. It's a great entry price for Landfall. Landfall is a 2200-acre gated community right along the Intracostal Waterway and by the entrance to Wrightsville Beach. This community has two and a half golf courses, two clubhouses, and a sports center. Also scattered along the community are some of these beautiful gardens, such as the Temple Garden behind me. The property used to belong to Pembroke Jones, who used it for his hunting grounds. It's got some really beautiful natural landscape of oaks and azaleas. This garden here will be host to the Easter Egg Hunt here in about a week for all the kids. There'll be kids running all over this yard, but it's just a beautiful place to come. Great community, great option for folks moving to our area with lots of amenities, so keep Landfall and Medeira Court in mind, and let us know how we can help you on your search. I also wanted to just quickly mention the NAR settlement from the lawsuit. I know there's been a lot of big scary headlines out there in the news. We've also heard a lot of speculation from people in and out of our industry. The Beatty Pittman Team and Intracoastal Realty, we are watching all of these changes closely. We don't want to get out ahead of anything and speculate what those changes are going to mean, but we are taking great care to be on top of it and continue to train our agents and give the service that we always have, but there are going to be some changes. We do know that's coming. Unfortunately, it appears that it will make the buying process slightly harder and potentially more difficult for homeownership for some folks, but we are working through some different options with our lenders and just within ourselves to try to figure out how we can make this work for our clients, but if you have any questions or would like to discuss it any further, I'm happy to speak with anybody about it.
