And THIS is how you do modern kayfabe. Keep a segment going in the crowd, with no official cameras on the action, knowing there will be a bunch of people filming, and then let social media broadcast it for you. Makes it look like, "Well, WWE weren't filming it, so it was real." It's genius!

What a great take on it! Dude from when the chair was thrown, I was in line getting merch so when security was piling up with no WWE cameras, it looked like a legit altercation happened

Doing it that way does a few things - makes the crowd that's there question whether or not it's supposed to happen, it makes the crowd feel special for having that performed for just them, and again, it benefits WWE because they know everyone will be filming and posting to social media and drawing attention to it. The product has gotten SO much better since Vince lost power over everything, and this is just one of a ton of ways things have improved. Triple H being in charge is EXACTLY what we needed. We're definitely in another boom period of professional wrestling, and I'm loving every moment of it! Cheers!

he was a great champion during covid as well. he carried the ship before roman returned and carried raw after until he dropped the belt to lashley

Yes it is! I wasn't expecting it either because I was in line to get merch after the show ended lol.

I went to a house show in Vancouver 1998, had a upper bowl seat and would watch as there was no sense of control on the floor as anyone could run around, didn't interfere with show as it was the height of DX. Owen and Hart and Mick Foley had a signing earlier in the city.
