@@lewie909 Well I was born in Glasgow but raised in the highlands and studied in London, now living in France after living in Brazil. I love real accents that remain comprehensible as opposed to those strong slang that needs a translater !

@Sabe J Reid He's absolutely NOT a Geordie, he is as Scottish as you can get, as is his accent!!!
Who wouldn't enjoy listening to that lovely Scots accent and seeing that gorgeous space filled with treasure? If someone who gave a thumbs down could explain themselves, I'd be grateful.
Tom is one of the best dealers that you have dealt with. What a great guy.
Do love the humor of Tom! He’s a hoot!!
how did the bell sounds make me nostalgic for main street shopping in this modern walmart and mall era... the scene of the bells ringing as the doors open is the epitome of Christmas...
For anyone curious, this space now looks to have about 3 times more stock in it just now
Love Tom’s sense of humor.
They need to do more series with Tom. He’s a gem

He seems a decent, but no nonesense man.
I'm going to guess a prison guards chair, not comfortable enough to fall asleep on and narrow enough for people to pass by in the corridor outside the cells.

Brilliante !
I hear in his voice his love for those old goldies.when he sees something he likes he's like a kid in a candy store.
Love in it! An all new Drew! Can't get them here in the States! Thanks for the video! Please keep them coming 🙏!
Love everything about this show. Drew is awesome, would love to see him checking out various cities here in the States.
like others here have commented, Tom’s a lovely chap, with a wonderful demeanour and sense of humour.. which I particularly enjoy, that as I’m one of the ‘wee bit older’ Canadians 🇨🇦 whom feel there’s long been a tendency towards our having quite a similar sense of humour as found in the UK.. Anyway, I’d love to see Tom Corrie considered for a tv series of his own!❣ I’m sure that others would likely agree with me?🤔🤷♀😉👍😁
It may be from a prison where the guard sat in a narrow halfway by the main access inner door. The marks are from the huge key ring on his belt.

I was also thinking huge key ring and prison is very logical explanation. Maybe we get answer one day.

Actually it is VERY sad that it is no longer in christian religious use: the churches close down whilst mosques are being built everyday all over the UK !!!!
The smokers bow caught my eye.
Drew breathes history.
Seems like a very nice man.
Tom has such a great guy and has he ever done acting?
I’d like to see drew on American pickers...that would be a great show..comparing dealing techniques...comparing slick against not slick..
It’s interesting how we here in the States pronounce the word sellable compared to those in the UK. We say “sell-a-bull” whereas they pronounce it “sale-a-bull”. Just find it charming lol😄
That's the chair you put out for someone you don't want to stay too long.
Some farmer with a bunch of keys......pistol...sword...haha.
The chair was made for handcraft man who carves. And also for tailor who weaves.
like the idea if a prison officers chair, how about a lift attendants chair?
He’s a nice guy
Great you are three good characters ... you should go to his shop again its so interesting good luck from australia love the scotish accent.
what about a photographers chair for military photos?
The collector has the best accent. Does anyone know what part of Scotland it's from?

is there merino wool in that sampler? that would help date it.
Security guard chair not very comfortable yet something to sit at desk
Aye Drew Aye
It's a half-assed chair
your tire on the back of the chair and then you take your shoe and stick it on the seat the half seat and it’s for buffing the tips of your shoes and stuff before you go out it is an antique though

Also it was placed at the bottom of your bed.
Punishment too soon
❤❤❤
I always think about the odd stuff, like- all of the sheep that the wool came from. 🤔 A shop owner had to call all of the owners who sold their wool, to collect all of those samples that they’d have as vendors to buy from, for customers who desired just that perfect type of wool that they sought. It was probably a regular business back then.. Nobody cares now. So strange how much our lives and needs have changed. They all come from China now😂

Because of current events I am sure we are going to see more British made items which would be nice.

Just love you and your show big fan from Israel 🇮🇱
Hmm..possibly designed for people with boils in upper thigh.
The mahogany chair is actually to prop up drunken person sitting on a chair, this goes under his arm.
Wear gloves if you are handling that chair. Those are used in brothels to facilitate seating for various sex acts, so that it is possible to get in close. It is likely very valuable based on its back story, but not something someone would display in their house.
Surely there were more interesting items there. Surely..
