Amazing!! The gown is beautiful on Jenny. That’s cool too that the lining is detachable

@@tudorroyaltyexperience you are welcome. 😁😀
Aww, I adore you in the blue gown with your French snood! Lovely! Gorgeous work on the ermine and what a beautiful dress you have made in rich red and gold! It’s so true to how I imagine the original would have looked, in person and when the painting was new and vibrant ❤

So awesome, well done!
Beautiful dresses and jewelry. I am Dutch and have always been fascinated by English history including the the Tudor era. I didn't know that the sleeves were attached separately. Nice to know that. There is so much hard work and passion in your pieces and it shows. Interesting video.

I am sad that I missed the drawing, but I learned so much from this video. I have wondered how one could do the spiral lacing and this is the first time I have seen it done. the gown is beautiful and I already own several pieces of enchanted rose jewelry.

In tudor times sleeves where still separate and laced to the gown, hence the song Green Sleeves.

Yes the lower inner sleeves were separate and laced into the overgown bell sleeves. ☺️💕
Love Jane Seymour dresses
Love this video! So interesting to watch! Two questions - do you use real or fake fur in your gowns? Also, do each of the gowns require assistance to put on and take off? Keep up the wonderful videos!

Thank you Deborah☺️ I use fake fur for my gowns and yes it’s best to have assistance when dressing. You can dress yourself but it’s quite difficult, so I always recommend someone giving you a hand! ☺️💕
Stunning! Normally, there'd be a cap on the head beneath the hood, right?

Yes correct, a linen cap called a coif. 😊💕
Did they wear all those layers in the summer.
@tudorroyaltyexperience

Hi, they would have, but in lighter fabrics such as fine linen, silk and hemp. They would have also worn an additional layer of a u-fronted petticoat when it was cold and during the winter. ☺️💕
Did they ware the layers of clothing year round. Beautiful but warm in the summer hours.

Yes, they did, but with lighter weight and finer fabric during the warmer summer months. ☺️💕
That’s a lot lol That does not look comfy at all
