I remember that feeling of leaning back! I used to tip forward normally and it took quite a while to get used to the "leaning back" feeling. However it made riding allot more smooth for both me and my horse especially for the aids.

this has been extremely helpful to me as I am at fault terribly for leaning forward or tipping forward. I can easily understand this and it makes such sense to me that I can honestly say I will know how to recall and use the information imparted in this clip the next time I ride and I am very grateful for this!! Thank you so much!!

My shoulders round! THAT is it!!! Wow, glad I watched this! My instructor just told me that when she is saying I am leaning forward she actually just means my shoulders round, which is something I struggle with and have improved since the beginning, but apparently still needs work, it's so hard to keep them back, it feels so forced and like I am contorting myself, so I need to watch this very carefully! Thank you!

Great thoughts and ideas. Upper body slump is related to many physical muscle pathways of the shoulder gurdle, pecs, scapular and back health. Always good to check alignment but also test the body for muscle strength with a qualified exercise physiologist or physio. So many reasons for posture. Thank you
