I’m finding on some occasions I feel overdressed. Do you ever encounter this? Funerals,weddings, just going out to dinner. We have a local theater, opening night for a new play was always a night to pull out something special. Nobody seems to care anymore. I will continue to do me, I have to admit it is a little frustrating! Have a great weekend, everything looked gorgeous as usual!

Ms Cathlyn, I have recently started working in an office based job the majority of my career was working in retail laides fashion of course we were given a uninform my way to dress up that uniform was jewellery and my hair and a statement red lip. My days off I have always dress as if I am going somewhere of importance because that is me I did it for me side note I am vain😉😁,it brings me joy now that I am working in an office I have clothing that allows me to dress even more and show case that I love clothes I love to be presentable and take pride in my appearance. At first when I started I toned it down because I didn't want to offend or show off but why should I,not take joy and pleasure from making an effort you may not realise but someone maybe taking note of your outfits and using you as inspiration and admire that you are always presentable so long story short don't whach what other people are wearing unless it's to admire or encourage someone who is looking for guidance and do you be you have fun an as Auntie Deborah says stay pretty because I know you are. Be most blessed always 🙏🏼

Forget those under dressed other ladies! I too have noticed that people seem to not put forth any effort when going out. Well, I refuse to fall into that dull routine. I love dressing and they can stink eye all they want. I'm classic, simple & pretty...so there!

Wish I had your great figure Debra with your great small torso. I'm tubby on my torso but have skinny arms and legs which is a bit sad but at least clothes can hide a bit.

You might want to wear a slip if you’re going to wear it outdoors where your dresses will be even more see-through. Your combinations are so elegant and beautiful ! ❤

I enjoy loose, long flowing dresses for summer. Some I wear when the weather cools with tights under, sweater on top or warmer jacket and booties or long boots. I manage more wears from my wardrobe.

Cannot believe how Debra Berry & I have so many similarities..I have Shoe Size 9 though, carry more weight. But other than that : love the longer clothing, clothes that are not tight fitted, the hairstyle, being able to sew & love the stripes, motives to match up, etc. I have neglected myself almost all my life & Debra has inspired me. Just discovered her two weeks ago. ❤

As always you represent and with style and panache and total class I have learnt something today every time you post I learn something new to recreate and rock it that has always been my mantra rock it when you step out of your front door you represent you your family people take notice, I have been shopping at a supermarket and a few times the assistance have commented that they always see me looking put together its what we do is art stunning art as you have shown us today sorry if I offend by saying Auntie Deborah but I feel its rude to just say your name🤦🏽‍♀️but you remind me so very much of a family member of mine sorry I'm rambling again 🙄😁🤭thank you for your time and encouragement today you very much made my day be abundantly blessed because you truly are 🙏🏼💝

Love the white dress. Add half lip to prevent see thru.

That was fun! Didn't like the green until you stepped back and I saw the whole thing. Then the lime green jacket! The last one I was afraid looked too granny gown, although I could imagine the fabric! When you added the crocheted piece, it looked darling. I used to wear those crocheted sweaters. All of this was great!

Hi, I came across your channel and subscribed. I have been saying for years that you don't have to spend a fortune on expensive clothing, having lots of money doesn't necessarily mean you have style. There are so many outlets these days where you can source good affordable clothing even op shops can be a good source. Always consider cut, coulor, material and design, choose for your size, height and colouring, also be honest with yourself. Look after your clothes, hang them up to dry and they will stay nice for years and years. Personally, I thing track suits should never be worn past the front gate. I agree with everything you suggested, you are an inspiration. I love dressing up but always feel overdressed. My husband loves it and says he always loves going out with me. I am a woman of 64 and have had to come to terms with the aging process, but, keep it simple but stylish and you can't go wrong. I don't consider myself a vain person but I just want to age gracefully and keep my husband I love with me. Hahaha cheers from Australia 🇦🇺

I love dressing up dresses, would love to see all the sun dresses with something under like a long sleeve... I live in NewEngland so 4 seasons and I utilize all my wardrobe all year round. :)
