This was one of my "soundtracks" back in 2007, when I had difficult times. A most powerful song!

This song is very powerful to me. Its almost speaking on the pains of life, transformation, and reincarnation. Journey back to birth is haunting you. Your departure from the earth is haunting you. Also speaks on humanities constant strive to return to that infancy, baptised and reborn, to something greater.
That chorus, it's haunting you... because it's damn good!
Bring back those good ol' days Nothing feels right Nothing ever goes my way I threw my future away Now I walk alone Out here in the cold Wandering astray Where's my future I'm gonna need a home You'd expect the same Now wouldn't you Wouldn't you Your journey back to birth Is haunting you It's haunting you Your departure from the earth Is haunting you It's haunting you Only those who accept Will find that acceptance in return We've been trimmed down like hedges Told just to sit and wilt And spit at each other from a distance With constant resistance from you I'm gonna need a home You'd expect the same Now wouldn't you Wouldn't you Your journey back to birth Is haunting you It's haunting you Your departure from the earth Is haunting you It's haunting you It's been ten years strong That's much too long It's time to do something good for my health Time to do something good for myself It's been ten years strong That's much too long It's time to do something good for my health Time to do something good for myself I've wasted all this time I've wasted all this time Your journey back to birth Is haunting you It's haunting you Your departure from the earth Is haunting you It's haunting you Your journey back to birth Is haunting you It's haunting you Your departure from the earth Is haunting you It's haunting you

I was 19 when this came out
My reaction when the girl who ask you to be your so-called girlfriend, then rejected you for no reason. Years later, she regretted her actions, and wanted you back. However, it is too late....... Time to move on......
Amazing song !
I Stopped listening to Dredge a while back for some reason. There was a reason. I don't remember what it was. So i'm going to start listening to them again....lol.

You'll never know where I found this song. Let's say that is amazing how the AI from xvideos has serious problems with the copyright
I'd kill to know how he does the vocal effects and layering in the chorus. I cannot get the sound down.

surely it's just layered a couple of times with a slight echo put on it to give it that ethereal sound?
