I love how you darkened the background and made the swans pop forward. My brain want to see a pop of orange on the beaks but I do love the monochromatic nature of your paintings.

I love your work, the water, shadows…everything puddles and moves. Aren’t the swans missing a bit of their grace, their essence? But, then again, in nature they do often look unreal. I’d be happy if I could paint this even half as good.

This is a lesson to all of us that “Never give up”. At a certain point I knew that I messed up with the values so I immediately went back for another layer so that the Doves pop!
