Hey y'all! Realized it's been almost exactly 4 years since I uploaded my last Dream Sans track and since I didn't really like it very much I decided to make a new one lol. This track is one that's rather personal to me and actually started as an attempt to remake an old original of mine from 2017. Eventually, I ended up giving the melody so many variations that it became its own thing lmao which in retrospect I think was for the best. Dreamtale has always been one of my favorite AUs and I wanted to make sure when writing something for Dream that I refrained from making a theme that was too childish or cutesy so instead I aimed for something more mature, bittersweet, and nostalgic. I tried out some new techniques with vocal chops with this one at 0:45 and 2:15 which I think fit the song really nicely. They didn't give me too much grief to mix either which was of course welcome lol. Overall it was a relatively quick vent track that only took me around 5 hours to write and I'm extremely proud of it and I hope you all enjoy it too! In other news, I have an Error track pretty much done that I'm getting ready to release I just need to figure out what to title it so suggestions are welcome lmao. I've started to get back into the groove of things so tracks are releasing pretty quickly now :) I also feel like I've really improved with mixing and mastering since the start of this year which is weird since I didn't work on music for like 6 months out of the year lol V:

I feel like ive heard this before... in a dream, somehow. Amazing music regardless!

If you’re going to make an Error theme then maybe a possible name for it would be the grey zone? The grey zone refers to a phenomenon where something is neither ‘good’ nor ‘evil’ and I like that for Error. I believe he is not malevolent in the way nightmare is, but he definitely isn’t one of the ‘good guys’ like dream. He sort of sits in between the lines, not quite one thing, not quite another. That’s just a suggestion though, and I haven’t heard the song, so I really wouldn’t know what to call it… Anyways, I really like the higher tones in Dream’s theme, the contrast between the little whisper drops and the electronic notes is really pretty. My ears are happy. All in all, yet another kick-*ss song from Stormheart. Gonna’ have ta’ add this one to my playlist.

Thanks you and thanks for the suggestion! I definitely agree although the upcoming theme for Error is definitely more of a "bad guy" type theme just cause I wanted to try out that type of vibe for him.
