@@ahhhhhhhhhhhh6270 it depend on the type of activities your family is into. As for my family, we like sports and trying different type of food and going on excursions. I believe this place offers that. Their animation team could be more alive and present comparing them to other places like Cancun hotels.

I’ve been to a different Dreams and am now considering this one. For this specific resort, would you suggest preferred club?

Came here in January (2024) Way better than any 5 star resort we stayed in Mexico, excellent beach, service, and food. Zero complaints whatsoever

I just got back and I have to say, this resort is the best! Look out for Ramon, Manny, "Pablo (Not Excobar)" and Lisa! They are great resultant hosts! They made our stay fun, full of laughter and we cant wait to go back there again next year but this time with the kids! Love that it was ALL inclusive and the beach was like we were in paradise! The Dominican Republic and Punta Cana people are so friendly, I wished everyone in the world was like them!

Ahhh I’m going there next week and I’m so excited!!!

Coming back there after 15 years! Is it the old Sunscape Casa Del Mar? Also called Dreams la Romana simply in 2008.

How long does it take from the preferred club building to the beach ? I’m planning to go there. Because is one of the best in the area. However, the hotel looks pretty narrow, and then you have to cross the main part of the hotel, go under a tunnel to go to your room in case you are in that building. Nah that looks a lot. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Well you don’t have to go through the tunnel, you can just cross the street to go to the main entrance. From the preferred part of the hotel to the beach it’s about 5-9 minutes walk give or take.

Can you swim out to the reef im a free diver and need deeper than 5 feet thanks,or will the staff hastle you if you do

The closest bar from the beach is the one at the pool

Do you think it would be worth booking preferred? Would it make a big difference in terms of overall satisfaction, or not too much?

It depends, if you just want to enjoy the beach and food then regular price will do but if you want to have access to vip area like the dedicated breakfast areas, resting quiet areas at the beach etc. then preferred is for you.

Hello, I just recently visited this resort. Think of it as more of a relaxed getaway rather than a resort with insane nightlife. They have different kinds of shows every night, but the resort itself doesn’t really have a disco atmosphere. However there is a casino/nightclub about 3 minutes walking distance outside the resort. If you want more of a nightlife vibe visit punta cana

We reserved as preferred. We did stay at the main building, but I also noticed rooms with private pools, I’m not sure if those were preferred or something else. If you have the preferred pass, which they can tell by the room umber or by the room card, you get to enjoy the preferred spots at the beach which includes beach beds, etc.

@@JohanOnSet yeah my family’s deciding on going and we have a preferred member ship to all hotels under dreams I just don’t know if we would get one of the separate buildings

The walls don’t have much insulation

Are you obligated to take that building with room with family ? With diseable people this tunnel is pain ... Wheel chair
