normally this doesn’t freak me out but lke I had this dream, which I always have a bit before Memorial Day. Which is weird. Cause I wake up in the middle of the night, fall asleep again and have it. But I’m in my room, and get up to open the window and this big oversized firework floats in the wind and stops right before my window, I watch it go up and smile say something like “it’s so pretty every year” it’s like night and day at the same time, then I look back down and there’s this man with blood on his face right in front of my window. I try to scream cause he’s trying to break in, and go for my door screaming for my mom. I open it and right to the right of my door is my moms room and I open it to see him there and it fades to black and I hear a shot. I had it two nights ago but it’s been lingering. I’ve had not so nice interactions with ppl who have my address, have had my life threatened multiple times and I’ve always been paranoid. The one about bad dreams as a kid made me think back to this dream specifically and makes my head hurt. I feel like I should tell someone, so here I am. Sorry if it’s over sharing but I don’t think I can tell someone like irl about it or something bad will happen. Has anyone ever had anything similar? Was he middle aged, have scruffy brown beard, wide eyes, a blue shirt? He looks like someone I’ve seen on TV but I can’t remember his name...

Hey I came to the replies if I could see anything interesting, but here I wanna share my dream too. So it was before I woke up. It was very vivid, too. It was a bright sunny day, and I came to one of my old friend’s house. Her house was blank, the walls were a faint tint of yellow, and the flooring was a dark oak wooden floor. There were long white windows with no curtains, and I could see hills from out the window. Anyway, we were upstairs and at the center of the room. The room was empty, and it had no furniture. Me and my friend were talking with her mom when I suddenly asked my friend where Morgan was (Morgan is also one of my friends). She just said nothing and all I saw next was just pitch black. I then saw a glitchy text saying “ALTER.” After that dream, I woke up and just stayed there. Whats even more eerie is that of right now, I still don’t know what the dream means. I really wanna know if other people have seen a glitchy text saying “ALTER” with a pitch black void behind it.

Dream core is like all you're weirdness and anxiety pressed into a soft and mysterious void of sound, pictures, and surreal life. Dream core literally surrounds us, and we don't know it. We have some kind of dream core experience daily and it is truly a part of us. Mentally & physically. It's comforting to me & takes me away from everything that surrounds me. It's strangely nostalgic and comforting and is such a confusing thing. I love it.

I dont have anything wrong, just anger issues. Dreamcore just helps me calm, along with the cute little skits of dreamcore friends.. :3

No other aesthetic makes me get anxiety, feel happy, terrified, comfortable, uneasy, nostalgic and calm at the same time.

Dreamcore to me kind of makes my heart tense like it’s preparing for a jump scare and makes it feel like playing hide and seek as a kid and you can hear your friend in the room so you try to breath quietly. But then at the same time it’s like nostalgic and comforting like you’re being protected but not protected, kind of like being really young when your parents drop you off at somebody’s house to stay while they’re gone, and you haven’t met them before.

I want to hug all the characters that the dreamcore videos have, they seem really nice.

Dreamcore isn't my personal aesthetic and I find it eerie at times but it's also really fascinating to me and oddly familiar. I also love the simulator tiktoks where you're talking to someone named Stoic and their head is toothbrush bristols or something, idk what I like so much about it 😅

Dreamcore makes me so nostalgic, it reminds me of a place I used to go to in elementary school. It was a fun place where me and my friends would usually celebrate our birthdays.. however the owner of the place was poor and didn’t get paid enough, so they had to shut down the place. Dreamcore is like, a comfort zone, safe space for me. Its comforting but suffocating to look at. Its like ab abusive relationship, clinging to it despite it hurting you. Idk this is how I feel about dreamcore!!

I think the reason dreamcore is so horrifying yet comfortable, is because.. It reminds us of our childhood? Some horrifying, tragic places you've been reminded of, But also some places that left great, beautiful memories. Like, a play place you went to as a child, and made friends. Thats a common Dreamcore place. When you look at it, it looks strange, you feel strange when you look at it. That's because your mind is making you think of memories you had at a place like that. Or, you see the place as a dream you wish you could've stayed in.

I like it when dreamcore is wholesome! It makes me happy!
