It's also funny to notice how often Gahyeon is the one who's just getting caught in the middle. Usually, it's the unnie-line (Jiu, Sua, Siyeon) doing unfiltered or weird stuff, and so often Gahyeon somehow just always seems to be there, witnessing it. Classical case of unnies being immature while the maknae tries to be mature.

Handong was only supposed to stay in China until the survival show was finished. Covid broke out when she was there and South Korea began to seal the border with China. The first step was the cancellation of all visas of people from Wuhan, the center of the outbreak. Handong is from Wuhan. So the few months absence turned into a year, but she used the time to learn the dances from the comebacks she missed, improve her vocals, and study Korean language. She really was changed when she came back.

It had to be so hard, I am glad she used that time to improve and that she came back better and stronger!

I'm glad Handong came back and everything was fine - it always makes me think of the mess CUBE made with Pentagon's Yanan when he went back to China and how the other members couldn't even mention him despite him still being a part of the group... I'll never get over that. Wish they had a happy ending like Dongdong and Dreamcatcher.
