Dreamcatcher is that relatable idol we don’t know we needed, they don’t hide anything to InSomnia and be perfect all the time. Their life struggle just the same as ordinary people does, this make us love them more and more 😘

Holy balls, Jiu is about as nearsighted as my dad used to be before he had cataract surgery, he couldn't see clearly beyond his own nose. Even I was never that bad prior to getting lasik done, and my eyesight was terrible.

There are a few that are even worse. An Yujin of IVE apparently had a 9.0 compared to Jiu's 6.0. When you see old pictures of Yujin in her glasses her eyes look really tiny because her glasses were so thick. Ironically her first major CF was for Bausch & Lomb contacts and she legitimately needed them. I feel sad for people who have such bad eyesight as without their glasses they often can't see anything well at a distance even a fairly large TV, let alone when they play a sport or drive and need to see a ball or signs clearly.

1:26 YO that's more than me already😭 And I've been wearing glasses for 12 years now(since I was 7)... To be honest, I've heard myopia gets worse if you don't wear glasses regularly. I practically wear my glasses all the time except while bathing and sleeping(admittedly, I like wearing glasses), and my prescription has still increased. Dreamcatcher need to look at screens for monitoring and doing vlives, plus there is the smartphone usage, and they don't always wear glasses, so I guess that could be a reason why their prescriptions keep increasing. With that prescription, Jiu is almost legally blind without glasses/lenses🥲

DC next title track: *BAD VISION*

Quite sure that most DC fans would be fine if they'd take a couple of months and do the surgeries. With the amount of content and music we have from them to (re)watch they could have it done, rest, go for a vacation and we'd be barely finishing it. 😁 (not to mention the amount of content that are waiting to be edited)

Yeah, I got lasik done and they never said anything about long-term restrictions on wearing contacts. You do get more dry eye, though, which I would imagine would make contacts more annoying to wear.

SuA just had lasik done and I'm seriously wondering how she will do it since people also said you can't have bright lights for a few weeks. So I think they already shot the mv. But she also had that TV show or whatever so idk if it's true with the lights.

OMG, hilarious! I would never pick on these ladies over this because I feel their pain. I have needed glasses since before I could walk. I have the opposite problem to them, though; I am Far-Sighted instead of Near-Sighted. I have a +7-point-some-odd, coming up on +8, so I am even worse-off than JiU. My glasses are even thicker if they are not miniaturized; they really do look as thick as Coke-bottle-bottoms. Even when I have my glasses, I have to hold things far away from my face to read them instead of getting closer.

My eyesight is as bad as Jiu's so I know the feeling, lmao. The clip I related the most was the one with Jiu trying to unsuccessfully read the comments in the live. I can't read text that small unless I'm 10 centimetres apart. 20 cm if I squint my eyes HAHAHA

I am near sighted.. so I have to wear glasses or contacts so I can see far away clearly. I do need to make an eye appointment.. it’s been over a year since my last check. I don’t like wearing my glasses because I then can’t really wear sunglasses.. Both of my parents had glasses so I figured I would need them, stated wearing in High School. My parents got LASIK or something similar to lasik.

I've been wearing glasses since I was 3 years old and my eyesight is ridiculously bad (-17 left eye and +17 right eye) so 16 years of wearing (I have lenses but I use them only at home), it's a pain in the ass especially since it's genetically passed down onto me
