If they debut in Japan they’re going to be popular. Japanese are more open to this genre than Koreans and their songs fit anime openings. I love how they’re different from most girl groups and sticking to this concept tho. I hope they get the recognition they deserve.

I met them at a fan meet and greet at KCON Japan last year actually and they were really popular with the other Japanese kpop fans! So I have a feeling they are going to do just fine when they debut in Japan!

underrated title song, but i love the whole album, concept and choreography. this comeback is when i bought my second dreamcatcher album. ♡ this album is the first one to contain stickers inside it.

What is one of their best title tracks, fight me. The combination between rock, metal and orchestral elements (during yoohyeon and handong's part after the first chorus) is beautiful. What is such an underrated title track and it deserves more recognition!

This song's instrumental is probably my second favourite ever: it's beautiful, it's melodic, it's alluring, it's magical and it's enchanting. Why is this song hated? It's one of their best. The slow, calm verses and the climatic pre-chorus that slowly launches you into Siyeon's power vocals that compliment the chorus so well are just so good...not to mention that What has some of their best raps in the bridge, as well as vocals from Dami and a beautiful bridge! *What's* not to like?

I think the dislike comes from the girls themselves. I recall them saying the chorus sounded repetitive and they don't like performing it that much, so yeah. But I'm not sure

WHAT is such an underrated era, this mv is the one with the less views, it's so frustrating cause this is actually my favorite era. The clothing, the choreography, the hair styles, the discography is just amazing with songs like trap and wonderland, everything is on point, and the album and photo book are so beautiful! Give alone in the city era the attention it deserves!

I agree it's such a powerful concept. It kinda reminds me of science fictional theme, city lights, etc. And the lyrics are so inspiring as well. It's way different, aesthetic and mesmerizing mv from the other ggs. And also, the album as a whole beautiful. Alone in the city is the most underrated era of Dreamcatcher. Or maybe Kpop.

When I found out about DC and went through their MVs, this one is my least fav. Maybe I got an impression from their previous song but WHAT really sound different at some point. But actually it keeps getting better each time I listen, even more catchy. And for sure it's def the best era of DC in visual term

Dreamcatcher is the only idol group who can pull off these concept and genre so well. Hundreds thanks to Happyface for not giving up on these girls and gave them a second chance as Dreamcatcher. Their music, choreography, concept, and even special covers are so spectacular and addictive which deserve more love and recognition from everyone. And yes, this album, Alone In The City is another beautiful masterpiece from them. Different genres within one album but we can definitely know this is Dreamcatcher. Their own color shines the most. Meanwhile, What is really surpass what I've been expecting from them to release. Dreamcatcher were really ahead of their time, imagine releasing something like this in 2022 😬 too bad many kpop fans are missing on some really high quality music today.

I really hope they bring out more title tracks that are as rock heavy as theier old stuff this combination of magic mystery and rock is just so heartwarming

This song is beautiful and the message of the song is really inspiring. The lyrics are very powerful, emotional and relatable. The music video's super cool and the acting is perfect. They're singing voices are insane and the dance coreography's incredible. Love the outfits they looks stunning and the energy's amazing. The visuals are gorgerous and they killed it with the dance coreography. Love the girlpower vibe of Dreamcatcher's songs and the positive energy. Dreamcatcher's love for eachother, fans and music shows in everything they do they're real sunshines and super talented. Siyeon, Sua, Dami and Handong are my favourites here but they're all truly perfect. Love them all forever and always

Dreamcatcher is the only girl group that is doing this "rock" sound for their title songs. They are truly unique showcasing their talents through their vocal powers and great choreography. I wish they are getting lots of attention worldwide for not being a typical girl group in Kpop.

Ok, so I watched the MV a couple dozen times and my theory so far is that What takes place sometime after the events of the You and I MV. The girls are a little older, living in the city. However the members, Jiu in particular, are haunted by dreams of when Yoohyeon got trapped in the previous era. Yoohyeon herself has also moved to the city in her previous era world, but is alone and haunted by visions of the real world. Eventually a portal (the door with purple police tape over it) to the other dimension opens up, allowing Yoohyeon's spirit to visit our dimension when she dreams. Siyeon seems to detect Yoohyeon's presence, and is searching for her in the city. Meanwhile, Gahyeon is investigating the graffiti and finds SuA, Handong, and Dami possibly under sleepwalking effects due to their nightmare. So just as the girls have matured, their nightmares aren't the spider monster anymore, but for Yoohyeon it's being alone and for Jiu it's her failure to save Yoohyeon. Finally, Jiu catches a glimpse of Yoohyeon's spirit in the real world before Yoohyeon wakes up back in the previous era. Either that or Jiu is dreaming as well of her. Not sure what the crystal at the beginning symbolizes tho, perhaps it's to signify taht Yoohyeon is holding on to her nightmare too much. I think this MV does a great job of illustrating the theme of feeling trapped in your real-world stresses like loneliness and failure, and the lyrics further emphasize that. And then the chorus is about trying to break out of that trance and wake up from the nightmare by asking for help.

Not sure why this song doesn't get as much love but it's probably one of the best from DC though all their songs are great, like Piri, Scream, Odd Eye, Wind Blows, etc.

The path KPop industry took in 2021 and 2022 with rock music, tese girls did it years ago. Dreamcatcher really was way ahead of their time

As a rock/metal fan, Dreamcatcher is the only kpop group I like or even remotely care about. Honestly I'm a bit obsessed with them now, and I even like their more electronic stuff because none of it sounds too poppy

I want them to win an award at MAMA so bad! They are so phenomenal! Dreamcatcher are truly unique and stand out. I love them so much i'd sell my soul to see them live.

Guys I just realize something that brings me hope for Dreamcatcher’s 1st win: Weki Meki and Pristin presented the girl group rookie of the year award at MAMA 2017 and Pristin won it, beating Dreamcatcher, Weki meki and others. To date Pristin has had 2 full group comebacks (“we like” and “wee woo”) and 1 sub unit comeback (Pristin V’s “get it”). Weki Meki has had 2 comebacks (“la la la” and “I don’t like your boyfriend”). Dreamcatcher has had 5 comebacks to date and 1 world tour (including South America where I could watch them live in my country). Our girls work hard, they don’t get invited to variety shows like Pristin and Weki meki does, and they DO NOT GIVE UP!! You have no idea how much I respect Dreamcatcher now after realizing this, we InSomina must not give up on them!

Gemini Dreamer owh thanks. I also think Dreamcatcher doing much better than those two group because those groups have multiple problems. As for Pristin, one of the member is kinda left the group because got bashed for her body, one has health problem and there'a also one have more schedule at China than Korea. As for weki meki, their company had critical issue and it affected the group so bad. They only released their latest comeback's dance practice recently which is so long overude and also just got fandom name. Compared to these three, Dreamcatcher obviously has least problem.

Also, I love weki meki, the end of the season 1 episode of Super TV where they invited weki meki, WJSN, fromis_9, CLC and Gugudan was one of the best episodes of variety shows ever, and the Sunmi special of Idol Show where they invited Yoojung and Umji is one of the cutest episodes I have ever seeing. This song is still the best dreamcatcher song (hell even in the kpop industry) in my opinion, and you can't convince me otherwise. What is truly a meaningful piece for me, since it was right at the time when I decided to officialy became an Insomnia. There are so much music I've listened to but Dreamcatcher's is still forever, and always, to me.

The gorgeous colors and setting of this MV coupled with the amazing instrumental and DC beautiful vocals, it's just so stunning T^T I'm happy there was some Justice for What recently with DC performing it on their Reason tour and the MV finally reaching 10M
