the yellow with the low lighting always made it feel like an old basement (no offence LOL) so the white with the fluorescent bulbs just makes so much more sense especially considering it’s a storage room and workspace. cant wait to see more loft vibes!!!

Y’all in the comments need to calm down about Rachelle. She is still with TSGs, she was literally at the studio today if you follow her IG. She’s likely working on a longer term project and doesn’t have the time to appear in the other recent videos. Now that the channel has the four hosts obviously there is a lot more flexibility in production time lines and of course not everyone is going to be in every video. Really tired of people trying to sow drama just because this is a female fronted channel. Loved the space makeover team, can’t wait to see what appears in the space next ❤

We don't all follow outside of KZread, so keeping people up to date on the team in a small way or a pop-in "hey" from time to time, when possible, might soothe the masses. I think the comments I've seen are just genuinely worried, not trying to stir up girl drama. We just love a good Rachael episode too ❤️

I love all the series on TSG but loft vibes and Becky and Kelsey’s homes are my favourite. Hope you guys are still around for decades to come. TSG is how I started getting into diy and KZread

Hot tip for Lee Valley, I go to the same one in Toronto and on the second floor near the back is a discount area, I always check it every two weeks or so. About two months ago I found bags of the exact handles you guys got for 50 cents a bag! There was about 30 handles in each bag. For things that were going to be garbage it's a nice way to keep it cheap and sustainable.

Can believe how much bigger the space looks. Makes me want to organize my garage!

Tip: a more budget friendly curtain rod, PVC pipe. Can be painted and it is large enough to fit any size needed for a room, though its not adjustable it can be cut to size if just using to hang a curtain you don't plan on changing out often.

PVC pipe is pretty expensive these days -- especially since you'd need the heavy duty and wide diameter pipe so it wouldn't bow in the middle.

I had a 14' curtain rod run at my fishing shack. I used conduit and connected the pieces with carved wine corks. Two 10' x 3/4" pieces was less than $20. I was gifted some large wooden dowels, so one of this summer's projects is replacing the conduit. And of course find a way to repurpose the conduit.

The inset drawer pulls are giving ✨cervical dilation chart✨

I Love the refresh, it seems more invigorating with the light and space and so much more functional too. Especially when you're trying to see true colours. Many hands make light work. Maybe we're in for some more designer dupe DIYs like "That Cost How Much?" or thrift store make-overs for profit for charity challenges? I am sure whatever it is, we will be entertained and enriched by their experience. I'm loking forward to what's coming next

When I worked in a university art gallery, one of my first and favorite projects was organizing and improving the layout of the tool room!! love this stuff 😍 mine was a one-woman operation, so I love seeing all of y'all work together to make the space work for everyone 💕

(taking a page out of Kelsey’s book) *can I get a* ! LOFT VIBES, LOFT VIBES, LOFT VIBES!!!! So pumped for that to come back, I truly fell in love with you guys with that series.

The analogy thing that Kelsey was talking about--for example with putting the wallpaper glue brush by the wallpaper glue instead of with the brushes--is called "point of performance". Wallpaper things live together on the same shelf, stuff that you need to make coffee would all be near the coffee maker, your brushes and water cup live together in one spot on your desk... there's countless examples. It's a super helpful organizational method for neurodivergent brains (e.g., ADHD, autism, and so on), and things that are good for ND brains are good for all brains. :)

I think those colourful draw handles I swear are in my childhood memories from like daycare or something ❤ love them

Ikea has a cable you can extend across and put curtains on it, cheap and easy ... no rods involved. Beautiful wood .. awesome job !! Looks fantastic ...

I absolutely LOVE the colourful handles!

Did the same lighting in my shop, it made everything so much easier and in dreary Vancouver winter it was easy to get to work in my bright work space.

Loved Kelsey mentioning that things should be 3/4ths full... I call it the negative space rull and I learned it from @Do It On a Dime because not onlyy does it leave room to be filled up but also gives you space for rummaging through the container and seeing what you need to get.
