Dream Theater - Distance Over Time - Barstool Warrior (Guitar Cover)
Музыка
The new Dream Theater album "Distance Over Time" is officially out now! I got to listen to it already. And I did it 3 times in a row and keeps going.
Cried many times through the whole thing. To me it's the return of Dream Theater! My heroes still making the same type and quality music that made me love this band.
I could write a lot about how I felt and about what I think of the album, bit I'm so emotional that I prefer not do it right now. "Barstool Warrier" is my favorite at this point! Here's my humble (first) tribute to this new masterpiece!
Can't wait to buy my CD!

That guitar is like a Ouija board guitar. It leads your fingers...one caveat...you have to love Dream Theater with all your heart. Then and only then are you worthy and it will lead your fingers. It takes the the pure tears of a true fan...only then are you moved. So my friend, test it. Get this guitar and if your heart is true, if your tears are pure and real...you too will be able to play with only one listen.

I am a huge Genesis fan and I love when DT create songs which carry that kind of spirit like Losing Time, The Bigger Picture, A Better Life and now this one...they never fail to deliver intense emotional chord progressions
Beautiful rendition! 👏🏻
So many people who do covers just play through the notes so I like to see when people are really feeling it and showing the passion. Great job sir! Maybe I'll do this as my next video as well... Cheers!

@@MichellBraganca Awesome, thanks for the response! Did you look at official tab to learn more or did you use other resources? And, if so, what tab resource would you recommend? (If not the official)
Who the hell disliked this? Amazing job sir! And for it to just come out is very impressive.
How??? I haven't finished listening yet. Great Job. Blown away by your talent.
Speechless.. dude please make the wit’s end too. This is very amazing.
This has to be one of the best rendition of a Dream Theater song. The piece at 4:21 and the run 4:36 is the true highlight of this track. You nailed it. :)
Outbloodystanding young man!!!! Really, with a performance of that calibre, that's all I'm left with. I've seen Dream Theatre live and you could definitely step-in if the man himself finds himself ill. Really.

@@MichellBraganca And btw, I just read your description which is EXACTLY how I feel about the album. 8 years I've been critical, but this return with a vengeance I wasn't expecting. I would discover every song with this fear of not liking it, and each time I was dumbfounded. The whole thing is a masterpiece, and I have soft spots for At Wit's End, Fall Into The Light, Paralyzed and Barstool Warrior (well, basically the songs with the most melodic chord progressions, even though I really love them all). Funny how we all feel great about it, and how it makes life a little better, right? The power of music, and our caring for the guys who make it.
Nice job, the track is so touching

Hey man. Well done for your cover. But what called my attention was what you wrote, I felt exactly the same. Been listening to it since then and feel like DOT is one of their best albums. I've been waiting for this album since Train of Thoughts! Petrucci and Magini nailed it. Thanks for that bro.
Hello man. I’m very happy to see you to play very very good Dream Theater. I from Brasil. Congratulations.
Ok... First time ever seeing you. After reading what you wrote in the description, I had to subscribe. I love true fans of Dream Theater. I haven't been this emotional since the first time I heard them on the radio in a parking lot with my in-laws-to-be as we were just going to a fancy restaurant for dinner. I stayed back in the car with my bro-in-law-to-be as we listened...neither of us knew who this band we heard on the radio. We listened to the song until the end in hopes the DJ would tell us who they were... No Shazam back in 1992. My bro-in-law-to-be was guessing all these crazy choice bands...Iron Maiden. I said, No Way. Finally we were told, Pull Me Under... Dream Theater. The next day I bought the CD. Who knew that that moment would change my life forever. I have been there, a die-hard, ever since. Never wavering once. It's good to read that this album moved you so emotionally. I love At Wit's End. Petrucci's solo until the end is breathtaking...then the fade out and return. Gorgeous. Rock on my friend. Thanks for loving Dream Theater so much. I'm right there with you.
