Haha they're classified as ostriches in the game :) They're skinned to look like flamingos and peacocks, but because there would only be one flamingo or one peacock, the game classifies them all as the ostrich species

Reneigh was my first starting villager and I just need to say she is tops. I loved her so much, after a game reset (dont ask RIP) I just kept loading up the game until I got her as a starter again. She has the play hobby which means that she Naruto runs everywhere, and love it. Even her basic house is pretty cool (purple roof & black door).

when i started playing i had good luck w campsite villagers, thats how i got octavian, sherb, beau, renée, megan. but then i started getting gorillas. like legit, only gorillas.

Shari was one of my original islanders and she actually the best ever. She gets along w everyone and is super cute

I agree, it would be great to be able to go to different islands from an NMT trip but I guess the developer's wouldn't have seen much use for it. They probably wouldn't have really intended for people to hunt for villagers the way they do.

I also feel like it's to elongate how long you play the game, which would be weird since the company wouldn't necessarily benefit from people playing the game longer? But sometimes it feels like the constant dialogue and repetitive actions like making things was done purely to increase your playtime. 🤷‍♂️

nah i’m sure they knew it’d be like that, they know the community pretty well since they implemented some of the things people wanted way before NH (like choosing a spot for a villager’s house, laying down paths etc) and there used to be a villager market in NL as well

Liamii - it’s cool to get more plots but my island is completely done and furnished, idk where I’d put the plots, I probably would have to take down my theme park, fruit/plant market and my orchid to make space for the plots- ;w;

I’m new to the animal crossing world and I died inside when I watched your last video and you mentioned money rock island. I didn’t know that was a thing and was also villager hunting so I skipped the rocks. Now that I know about money rock island I will never skip over them again!

My mindset is villagers are popular for a reason, but i’d only pick them if i _really_ liked them. (Bob, Zucker, Audie, Ketchup, Apple are all villagers i’ve had/still have)

Bruh you literally found my dreamie the first island you went to. I’ve been looking for Rolf for weeeeeks. Spent about 30 or so NMT so far 😭 Great video though! Love your content!!

I had 2 mystery island and got Anicotti and Marina, I had to set up 3 houses and the third villager I got was Zucker 🥰

I love Sherb! His exterior and interior of his house is always super cute!

i have dom and i love him but he’s one of my starter villagers :( luckily he hasn’t asked to move out but his house is so bleh.

Cai B same. along with dom, i got cherry as a starter. i’m not quite sure tho if i want them to leave but just like ryan said, it would be a disservice to let them have those terrible-looking houses

Same, he was my starter, but I don't really care about villagers houses, I never spend more than a minute inside, so...

Shari was one of my starting villagers, and she's just the sweetest. I didn't really care about her at the beginning but she grew on me

When I built the first 3 plots, I started hunting for villagers and hoped to find either Marshal, Raymond, or Sherb. On the 3rd try, I actually got Sherb. I hope you find him! He's the absolute most precious villager I have. He's pretty cute too. Also congrats on finding one of your dream team members!

You can tell bio-taxonomy was his thing. "Hey look it's Boon, I'm not looking for gorillas though" XD dead haha

In my experience, the less you spend the more rare the villagers are. Stiches and Raymond were met 6 days apart. Stiches were 2 tickets, Raymond was 5 tickets

I personally don't focus on tiers, I love Nana and Bob which I know is popular ,but I have played all the animal crossing games and those two have always been in my game !

I just took Biskit from an island the other day. I hadn’t ever seen him before and he instantly reminded me of Jake the dog from adventure time and he is lazy so I fell in love haha

When I was a noob my 1st villager(That wasn't a starter) was Sherb. I had no idea that he was like really popular!

Dom was one of my starters but I gave him away today to my friend. I like Dom but he is my friend's dreamie. I kicked him out via Amiibo, using Rosie's Amiibo. She has picked him up after he went in boxes and she's really happy.

I got Marshal for my 4th villager, which I believe was assigned by the system (my memory could be wrong but I don’t think you can hunt for villagers for the first 6) . I didn’t know he is so popular back then. Now I can’t live without him. His personality is shining.

aw i didn’t know sherb was a top tier villager and i got him on my first few villager hunting. (prolly like my second nook mile ticket) but i love him so much bc he is so cute 🥺🥰
