I love the natural progression of the bond between Kong and Suko. Even with that "I'll beat a motherfucker with another motherfucker" moment. And the fact that Jia was prophesized as a hero who can rouse Mothra from her slumber is amazing, same with her meeting other members of her tribe. Also, I not only love the "Aw, shut up" punch on the ape annoyingly running his mouth a few seconds before Kong met Skar King, but the part where Kong lobs a rock and creams the one ape in the head. 😆🤣 Fun fact: Dan Stevens also played The Beast in the remake of Beauty And The Beast.

Haha yeah there were a lot of little funny moments between the apes 😂 Oh my god, I CANNOT believe that I didn't recognize Dan Stevens as Trapper! I loved him in The Guest and Legion

Godzilla was dissipating the effects in the atmosphere that Shimo caused.

He never checked under his home because before that opening towards the beginning of the movie, there was no way to go under there.

You are totally right! I missed that the first time but while editing the reaction I noticed that the path had opened for him

Humans are literally there for exposition they add an element of fun and an emotional story to make it more palatable but they’re fine for what they’re there for

16:04 Kong didn't know what happened to his people because that all happened long before he was born. His parents migrated to Skull Island (possibly fleeing Skar King's rule) and they died while he was a baby.

Ah, makes sense! When I got to that part while editing I thought "duh, he was on Skull Island" but I still couldn't remember how he got there. Thanks for the recap!

Yes you are right. Besides, his mom gave birth to him while his father was killed by skullcrawlers. His mom managed to hide him, but died soon after.

Shimo is a she and they aren't keeping her kong is just saying shes free now plus her and kong have a bond now like godzilla and mothra

I have seen the other ones! I just didn't remember much of the backstory and definitely should have refreshed my memory. Admittedly, I enjoy these movies for the spectacle of the Titan fights so I still had a blast watching this one!
