My respect for Shearer has increased. He stuck with Umbro although he got a monster offer by Adidas. That's a man of principle .

I had a pair of Quasar boots when I was about 11. I bought them because Gary wore them. After about 3 games one of the back studs and the bit on the sole you attach them to fell apart and I was left with only one stud in the back of one of my boots for the rest of the season because my dad refused to buy me another pair. Perfectly curated social media profiles don't really help as fans would have far more sympathy and understanding if players were more honest about injuries etc and how bad they are.

Think about that kids. Alan Sherear still sits atop of the all time Premier League goal scorers (and he scored a few in the division below), by some 50 goals, yet he spent best part of 2.5 seasons out injured! And, imagine how many more he’d have scored had he moved to Man Utd?!

This whole podcast is worth watching just to hear how Micah makes Allen laugh……priceless!❤😂

Quasar linekers we’re my 2nd boots and I purchased them because of you Gary lineker. So thanks for that 😅. I had some ASICS that were actually paul hall’s boots ( cheers Paul for giving them to me )from Portsmouth fc and they were amazing and supple. Then I had puma kings for years and then adidas predator for about 5 years. Have to say puma kings were most comfortable and best. First pair of predators I had I left them in changing room after a muddy game. The mud cling to them all over and they weighed me down. When they reduced the size ofsererated edges and lightened them I purchased again

9:15, that was Flamini. I remember because he signed for CPFC. And used to turn up to training in these super duper fashionable business suits.

I could have been a pro if i got the Puma SPA King boots i wanted for Christmas back in the day. Unfortunately i got Patrick Equip’s and that was the end of that!😅

I remember reading an interview with Alan Ball many, many years ago in which he bemoaned the fact that now he'd made it loads of companies were prepared to give him free boots. 'But where were these companies before I made it, when I really needed a free pair of boots?’.

If not oshimen we'll definitely go in big on a striker in the summer love Isak but he's not a natural 9 Wilson brings something different but he's lost that yard of pace and has been injured 40% of his entire Newcastle career, don't think he'd be too happy to lose the number 9 either Could see a young forward on loan this window as if Wilson is out ,as Isak can't play every game , only other option is to move Gordon to CF when Barnes comes back ⚫⚪ UTM

I had a pair of Adidas Qasar boots and didn’t realise Gary was the one who promoted them. I played in goal for a Sunday league team and felt a million dollars wearing them 😂 Sadly they didn’t help me protect my hands from my middle finger from being stamped on after diving at a team mates feet for the ball during training. The result was a finger fractured in nine places and very purple 😂
