Terra and aqua have been training for years under Eraques, they didn't have to rush to become stronger like riku and sora who are still rather new to this but they are prodogys when It comes to gaining strength which is rare like yen sid said In the beginning, terra and sora both do deserve the title of master but in the end they were bested by there better

+TV Turtle 555, both participants can pass the test, but Terra had a hard time controlling the darkness within himself, something that Xenhort noticed and exploited. As for Sora, Organization XIII was still able to trick and get the better of him, and he could not wake himself up like Riku could. It is also revealed in 2.8 that Sora lost most of his strength because of DDD.

I love how mildly surprised Axel is when he summons his keyblade. "Maybe its in the flick of the wrist *keyblade appears* Oh."

He uses it multiple times if you really think about it long and hard. In KH2 if you do Kingdom Key only he does use it with Sora and the same can be said if you equip it right before the final door so you can have it for all the battles. Technically in TWTNW in 3D that reality shift that has Sora and Riku create a huge sword that I'm sure many people have called the gay blade once or twice before technically counts as him using the Kingdom Key if again you do Kingdom Key only as Sora.

12:15 one of my favorite scenes. The last time "DiZ" asked for Rikus name Riku said it was Ansem, and Riku recognizes that when he laughs.

Did anyone notice that all three of the BBS trio became a boss in some form at some point in the series. In KH2 we fought Terra's sentient armor - his lingering will. Here we fight Ven's corrupted armor and in 0.2 we fight a heartless which manifested itself in the form of a second, darker Aqua - the Phantom Aqua

It's always intresting, the rare times we see riku use the Kingdom Key, because like technically that's His. Like it was supposed to be His keyblade unique to him, its even got his kh1 color scheme. Idk it's just cool to see him use it.

Honestly, before KH3 released, I was expecting the Kingdom Key to stop working for Sora after this whole thing(Randomly disappearing/appearing at the worst times) and him giving it to Riku after a few worlds and that is why he used a diffrent Keyblade in prerelease-material. And it would have been more interessting storywise than we actually got too.

For those who didn't understand why Ansem The Wise asks Riku his name, its not because he doesnt remember him nor its just because it's data. It's some kind of joke Ansem and Riku had. Back in KH2, when Riku's body was lost and he looked like Ansem Seeker of Darkness, Ansem (DiZ) asked him his name and Riku said it's Ansem, then DiZ just laughed loudly.

Damn, Sora was so close to becoming just like Terra. Imagine if that were the case in KH3.

That was in the PS4, and in that version, Balloon was nerfed. In the 3DS you could take and entire boss health bar with like 2-3 balloons from any of the Balloon spells. Now imagine that the boss gets hit by Balloonga. Yes, oneshots were common.

That’s why I avoided Balloon and the fights with Young Xehanort and every other bosses got more difficult but they’re super fun.

Whoa, I can't believe I didn't see this before! At 27:04 there are two colored stars, one red and one green. That's totally Terra and Ventus' stars from BBS! They're in the exact same position too except Aqua isn't with them :(

Matriarch i think it might be because they dont necessarily know how or where they are at that point. Very few in the universe could guess where Ven is, as for Terra, well hes literally a suit of armor atm. Mickey knows where Aqua is atm though.

Oh, I know that :) It's just a nice little example of how strong their bond is. Even though Ventus is locked away in the Chamber of Waking and Terra's nothing but a will in a suit, their stars still shine brightly beside each other. Aqua's isn't there because she is trapped in the realm of darkness whilst they are in the realm of light.

You just know Lea could already summon his blade but didn't want to tip off the Xehanort brigade yet :) I'm really, really glad they finally put in code to have speaking characters match phonemes of the current dub's lines. Makes it so much easier to take scenes like this seriously when the lips match.

I genuinely laughed when Riku wakes up after saving Sora, only for him to see Sora having a fucking tea party with Donald and Goofy with so much damn food on the table, Riku was like: “really dude? While I was saving your ass you were having a tea party, and you couldn’t even bother to wait for me to wake up for it?”

The scene with Sora and the Dream Eaters hits different after Union x.

Keeping in mind that Roxas acts so different from Sora because he has Ventus’ heart, and Ventus in BBS is just a blank slate copying Sora’s heart, so bringing Ven’s heart back to his body in Castle Oblivion and reviving him would mean Ventus actually acts like Ventus for the first time in the franchise. Namely, think Roxas but with Ven’s memories.

Roxas and Xion can only come back if sora gives his heart to darkness. In KH3 soras Antiform is canon as he attains it in a story cutscene IN THE VERY BEGINNING. I wouldnt be surprised if just activating anti-form slowly restores Roxas and Xions existence which is why org 13 now has them in KH3

The one thing I got from these mark of mastery exams is basically that it’s favoritism because there’s no logical reason not to pass both applicants. That’s basically why terra got into the bull shit that he got into and in sora and Riku’s cases you might as well shoulda passed them being that they’ve done this twice if not three times already

I think the seven lights will be Sora, Riku, Ventus, Roxas, and Aqua for sure. The other two may be Lea, Xion, or Mickey. I personally don't think it will include Kairi or Terra. I'll explain. Sora and Riku are obvious: they're the protagonist and deuteragonist. Aqua is perfectly fine aside from being trapped in eternal darkness, so a simple rescue mission would fix that. In KH3 trailers, Sora is searching for the "Key to Return Hearts," which heavily implies that Ventus will return (given that his heart is inside Sora for now). Also in the trailers, Xemnas mentions that if Sora wants to get Roxas back, he will have to find the darkness in his heart. So those five I believe will be included. I don't think Kairi will be a Guardian of Light simply because she's already a pure heart. The GoL's job is to protect the pure hearts, so doubling up on those roles doesn't make too much sense. It gives one character too much importance. Terra, on the other hand, is possessed by Xehanort as of right now. He's a Seeker of Darkness. Given how there are at least 4 Xehanorts in the thirteen darknesses (Ansem, Young Xehanort, Xehanort, Xemnas, etc), I believe it's unlikely that he will be saved in time to be one of the lights. The other two GoLs are totally unclear. Mickey is the most likely, since he has such a prominent role in the series. Since all the other GoLs (and the 13 darknesses) are KH-only characters, however, he may be prevented from acting in some way. Axel is a fan favorite, so the developers may want to include him, even if he only received a Keyblade very recently. Xion is the least likely. She may be saved, since Ansem the Wise spoke about Sora saving those close to him. Despite that, she is still just a Replica. Nobodies can grow hearts, but Replicas may be different. Anyway, thanks for reading this if you did.

Mickey already mentioned that he’s a Guardian of Light somewhere during KH Dream Drop Distance. And at the end of the game, there’s a cutscene titled “Another Guardian of Light” and it shows Kairi in it. Terra is obviously forced to be one of the 13 Seekers of Darkness since Xehanort possessed him. Sora has seven people that he needs to save (maybe in this order): Aqua, Ansem the Wise, Ventus, Roxas, Namine, and Xion. Riku and Mickey will save Aqua from the Realm of Darkness and she’ll be able to find Ventus at the Chamber of Awakening in Castle Oblivion since she’s the only one who can do so. Sora will have to be there with her and Ansem the Wise. Ansem could probably find a safe way to transfer Ventus’s heart from Sora’s body to Ventus’s unlike what happened in KH1. With the help of Ansem, or even only himself, Sora might be able to wake up Ventus. By KH3 Sora will have the power to wake up hearts. But that also means that Vanitas will be back and I don’t know what could happen. I think the 7 Guardians of Light are: Mickey, Sora, Riku, Kairi, Aqua, Ventus, and Lea. Terra would have to be replaced by Lea since he is unable to fully be on the side of Light. Either before or after the second Keyblade War, Ansem could get Roxas to be his own person with his technology and maybe Xion will too. Namine is most likely to be saved after the war and if Roxas and Xion didn’t get saved before, after the war happens, they will. There can always be more than 7 people fighting on the side of Light. Terra’s Lingering Will would also be on the side of Light. The second Keyblade War will be at the Keyblade Graveyard so Sora and the rest of Guardians of Light might come across him. Terra’s Lingering Will would recognize Riku since he’s the one he passed the Keyblade onto. Master Eraqus’s heart is also in Terra’s, so he might get revived, but most people prefer him to stay dead. I’m scared of anyone having to die in the war. Sora obviously won’t since he’s confirmed for future games, but I have a feeling it might be either Terra, Riku, or Saix (Lea might have to fight him). Or it could end without anyone dying, but Tetsuya Nomura said that Kingdom Hearts 3 will be the darkest game in the series. 2018...

Kirby WarpStar Dream darkest? I dunt think so, coz its like the final game of the series, and also this is still like disney game, very big chance that they will end up won the war and defeat xehanort anyway (though maybe there is some casuality). Darkest KH might be BBS coz every protagonist in that game ended up in bad ending of some sort, none are happy (Ventus and Terra were pretty much "dead" in some sort)

I bet every single player's jaw dropped when Lea held his Keyblade.

I like how even Yen Sid was shocked to see Lea summon a keyblade.

Cid Highwind was the best!

I think its still really interesting how they let Riku and Sora pass keyblades at times like this and the session limit, because that's how much they trust each other. A keyblade is a manifestation of your heart, it's what's needed to wield one. But these two can trade blades without worry.

When lea materialized the keyblade I got goosebumps

Sora's Hearts is like a hotel, everyone spends some time inside

kingdom hearts 3 will be a main game again, as with 1 and 2 I think it is high likely that sora will be the only playable character. if we think about the special forms and moves that he will get it would be hard to make another character with such things. though I do hope they make small sections where you can temporarily and with set restrictions can take control of another character like Roxas in the KH2 Tutorial or Riku during the last Xemnas fight or Micky when he jumped in to save sora. I especially hope they use the characters they have for a tutorial - making sora relearn everything would be weird and they could make a section where Kairi is beeing tought how to properly fight with a keyblade, maybe switching to other characters for different special tutorials while all accumulate exp and abilitys that will go to sora when the tutorial is finished.

Oh i don't know, when they have another 3 years of development, i'm pretty sure they have enough time to make another character with special forms and moves.

This was my second KH game, how I loved it on my 3DS. Definitely this was Riku’s game

I understand that Sora didnt became a Keyblade Master but he saved almost everyone from darkness

When Ven gets his body back, he’ll actually have a whole heart for the first time in the franchise. He’ll probably have Roxas’s personality with his memories of BBS returned, no longer acting like a Sora copy either.

Sora’s got a lot of voices in his head.

The sequence with Roxas, Ventus, and Xion on Destiny Islands is a callback to the KH1 prologue and the three questions that determined your level growth rate throughout the game.

riku has grown up into such a nice young gent :'-)

I just realized the three questions resemble the three questions in kh1

A little detail I like is that you can still see the stained glass on the lower walls of the battleground

The first time I saw Axel/Lea conjuring his Keyblade, I was like, "Really? Even he has one to?"
